The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to release the SSC GD Constable 2026 Notification in October 2025, as per the revised SSC exam calendar. The SSC GD 2026 application form will be available from October to November 2025. The exam is expected to take place in January–February 2026 to recruit GD Constables for CAPFs, NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. The SSC GD 2026 selection process will include a Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination, and Document Verification. The CBE will be an objective-type exam with a duration of 60 minutes. Shortlisted candidates will receive a salary at Pay Level-3, ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100.

SSC GD 2025 Physical Test Dates Released

The SSC GD Physical Test 2025 dates have been released by the Central Reserve Police Forces. The PET/PST will be held from 20th August to 11th September 2025. This test is the second stage after the written exam and comprises the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). These tests evaluate candidates’ fitness through activities such as running, height and chest measurements, and play a vital role in the final selection.

SSC GD Eligibility Criteria

The SSC GD Constable Exam 2026 applicants should check their eligibility by the official announcement. To be eligible for the SSC GD Constable Exam 2026, candidates must meet all eligibility standards set forth by the commission, including educational, age, and physical requirements. Educational Qualification

Academic Qualification is one of the most significant eligibility criteria for applying for the SSC GD 2024 exam position. SSC GD Application Form

Aspirants preparing for the SSC GD exam 2025 must complete the online application procedure. The registration procedure and the payment of Individuals Application Fees must be conducted on a remote device with encrypted connectivity. Thus, the candidate must confirm and complete the authentic qualifying conditions by following the procedures outlined below.

To apply for SSC GD Recruitment 2025, candidates must first register on the official website. To continue the application procedure, candidates must pay the SSC General Duty Jobs application fee online/ offline. Candidates can pay the application fee online at the official website using a debit card, credit card, or other applicable options like net banking or demand drafts. SSC GD Exam Pattern: Physical Efficiency Test

After passing the SSC GD CBE, you will be eligible to take the SSC GD PET. The PET exam is a rigorous physical examination that assesses your physical fitness and aptitude. Officials will check to see if you meet the height and weight requirements before allowing you to take the PET. The PET is a timed race you must complete in the allowed time. After that, biometric identification will take place. The following are the requirements for the SSC GD 2024 PET test:

The Board has announced the dates for the SSC GD examinations that will take place in 2025.

The applicants can see the final result released by the officials on their website. You can find your score on this page or the official website of the SSC. Applicants can get their results and merit list by following the steps outlined below.

  • Go to the SSC’s official website, ssc.nic.in.
  • Click the result in the upper menu on the SSC homepage.
  • Go to the SSC Result page and look for the GD Constable Exam Tab to see if there are any new updates.
  • Find and click on the most recent notification for the SSC GD Constable Result you’re looking for.
  • A PDF file with the list of selected applicants for future rounds of selection for the SSC GD Exam will open in a new tab.
