Exam Eligibility Criteria
A Candidate applying for the exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria. A candidate must match the educational qualification and age limit for applying for the J&K PO exam.
Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants
A Candidate must have Indian citizenship for applying to the J&K PO exam.
Educational Qualification
A graduation Degree from a Government recognized the University of India or from Central Government recognized University. Candidates should have valid Marksheets / Degree indicating the percentage of Marks.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit for the J&K PO exam is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years.
Relaxation of Upper Age Limit
For Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes – 5 years
For Other backward classes (includes underprivileged and Weaker classes, Residents of ALC, IB, Backward areas, and Pahari people) – 3 years

J&K PO Salary
The basic starting pay as per scale is 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020is Rs. 23700/- with other perks. A newly recruited Probationary officer will get Rs.23700/- as a basic per month. There will be an increment of Rs.980/- which will be annually for the next 7 years and after 7 years the Basic Pay will be Rs.30560/-.

Click on the “Recruitment-Probationary Officers 2021” link which is under the careers section.
Click on “Click here for New Registration” for registration”.
Enter your details like Name, Contact Number, and Email-ID.
The candidate will get his Provisional Registration number and Password. Also, It will also be informed by email and SMS.
Login using the Registration Number and Password and fill the application form.
After filling the form select SAVE AND NEXT option for details validation.
Step 3: Upload Photo and Signature
After completing the validation part upload your photo and signature.
Click on Preview and then submit all the details.
Step 4: J&K Bank PO Fee Payment
Candidates can pay the Application fees with the help of a credit/debit card, internet banking, wallets, or IMPS.
After the completion of the transition, an e-receipt will be generated.

J&K Bank PO Examination Pattern
Below are some important points of the J&K Bank PO Exam Pattern for Prelims and Mains.
The prelims of the J&K PO Exam Consist of three sections English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The detailed Exam pattern of the Prelims Exam is given in the table below.
The Mains section for the J&K Bank PO exam has four sections that are English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and an additional section which is Current Affairs and Basic Computer Proficiency.
There will be a negative marking of 1/4 marks of the total marks of the wrong question. This negative marking will be in both the stages that are Prelims and Mains.
There will be no negative marking for the questions which are not attended.
A score of the J&K PO Exam will not be added to the Merit List.
While preparing the Merit list score of Mains and Interviews will be considered in the ratio 80:20.

One important note for the candidate applying for J&K Bank PO Exam is that they had to qualify in each section, they had to score the minimum cut-off marks decided by the J&K Bank. Interview Process
Candidates who qualify for the J&K PO Mains Exams are called for the Interview; this interview is the final stage for the selection of J&K Bank PO. Interviews are conducted in the selected centers and the interview venue, time, and date of the interview are informed to the candidates through call letters.
Allotted total marks for the interview is 100 and the minimum qualified marks for the interview is 40% for the General category and 35% for SC/ST/Socially and educationally backward class/PCP candidates). The ratio of online mains exams and interviews is 80:20. Candidates who can’t secure the minimum score will not be included in the further procedure of allotment in the Bank.
A Candidate applying for the J&K PO exam should qualify in both the main exam and interview and get a high score to be on the merit list for the selection process.
