BSSC Eligibility Criteria

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) published the eligibility criteria in the announcement. The commission’s eligibility standards are the minimum requirements an applicant must meet to complete the online application. Educational qualifications, age limits, and age relaxation are all part of the BSSC qualifying criteria. Before applying for the exam, candidates must ensure that they meet the qualifying requirements.

BSSC Age Limit

The minimum age limit for all positions is 18 years. For level 1 positions, the maximum age limit will be 23 years, while for other positions, the maximum age restriction for general applicants would be 37 years. Candidates must ensure they are within the age restriction set by the commission for the position.

Educational Qualifications

BSSC Inter-Level Exam

A candidate who has passed the intermediate level examination from a recognized board or university can take the Bihar Inter Level Exam 2024. Apart from that, candidates with experience in shorthand typing and stenography will have an advantage in certain positions (clerk, stenographer, etc.).

BSSC CGL Exam

A candidate with a bachelor’s degree or completed graduation from a recognized board or university can take the Bihar CGL Exam 2024.

Nationality / Citizenship

Any candidate who is an Indian citizen can apply for the posts that are recruited through the BSSC Exam.

Important Elements for Inter-level Eligibility Criterion

• The Hindi Candidates must take notice of the important points of the BSSC eligibility criteria. Both male and female applicants who married before reaching their legal marriage age (Male – 21 & Female – 18) are not eligible to take the test.
• Candidates with pending criminal charges are not permitted to take the test.
• The candidate must be psychologically capable of taking this exam.

Interview Procedure

After qualifying both of the exams, prelims and mains, one will go to the round of interviews. So, there will be a panel of 3 to 5 examiners or conductors or authority people, to conduct your interview. They will check your personality, behaviour, nature, talking way, the way you express yourself, the knowledge you have etc. However, they will choose the candidates who are capable and responsible for the further various posts or jobs. BSSC Result 2024

The dates for the Inter-Level and the CGL exam will be declared a few weeks after the commencement of these exams. Following the announcement of the results, the shortlisted candidates will be eligible for the next round.

BSSC Exam 2024 Results

The BSSC result will release as soon as both stages of the exam are over. On the official website of BSSC, the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) will announce the Inter-Level and CGL exam results. There will be different release dates for results. The mains and the prelims exam result is going to be separated. Most importantly, the exams of both the parts ( the prelims and mains) will have different cut-offs according to the category wise. BSSC Exam 2024 Cutoffs

The Cutoff marks for the BSSC Exam 2024 will be declared when the preliminary and main exams are completed. There will be separate cutoff marks for each category. A candidate needs to secure equal or higher marks than the cutoff marks of his/ her category to be selected for the personal interview. This year, the BSSC exam 2024 has not conducted yet. Hence, the cutoff marks are not available at this moment.

1. BSSC Inter-Level Salary Structure

The pay scale for various posts under the BSSC Inter-Level posts will be different. The new compensation structure will be announced in the official notification. However, as per the pay structure of the previous year, an approximate salary range is mentioned in the table below.

BSSC CGL salary structure consists of different factors. These are Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travelling Allowance (TA), etc. Apart from the pay scale in which a candidate is going to join is also important. BSSC Exam 2024 Preparation Tips

In order to succeed in the BSSC Exam 2024, aspirants must have prepared throughout for a time period of at least 2-3 months before the exam. A candidate must maintain a self-made routine and follow it during that period. Apart from that, reviewing the syllabus from time to time and solving previous year’s papers can be beneficial for the aspirants. A certain amount of mental refreshment is also required for the candidates during their preparation. The written test is divided into two stages.
