BSSC Eligibility Criteria

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) published the eligibility criteria in the announcement. The commission’s eligibility standards are the minimum requirements an applicant must meet to complete the online application. Educational qualifications, age limits, and age relaxation are all part of the BSSC qualifying criteria. BSSC Age Limit

The minimum age limit for all positions is 18 years. For level 1 positions, the maximum age limit will be 23 years, while for other positions, the maximum age restriction for general applicants would be 37 years. Educational Qualifications

There are two types of exams conducted through the BSSC. The first is the Inter Level Exam, and the second is the CGL Exam. Hence, the educational qualifications for these two BSSC Exams are different. Here are the required qualifications asked by the council as mentioned below.

BSSC Inter-Level Exam

A candidate who has passed the intermediate level examination from a recognized board or university can take the Bihar Inter Level Exam 2024. Apart from that, candidates with experience in shorthand typing and stenography will have an advantage in certain positions (clerk, stenographer, etc.).

BSSC CGL Exam

A candidate with a bachelor’s degree or completed graduation from a recognized board or university can take the Bihar CGL Exam 2024.

Nationality / Citizenship

Any candidate who is an Indian citizen can apply for the posts that are recruited through the BSSC Exam.

Important Elements for Inter-level Eligibility Criterion

  • The Hindi Candidates must take notice of the important points of the BSSC eligibility criteria. Both male and female applicants who married before reaching their legal marriage age (Male – 21 & Female – 18) are not eligible to take the test.
  • Candidates with pending criminal charges are not permitted to take the test.
  • The candidate must be psychologically capable of taking this exam.

BSSC Exam Pattern 2024

The exam pattern of the Inter Level Exam and the CGL exam conducted by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission( BSSC) has different exam patterns. However, both exams have three main parts. They are the preliminary exam, main exam, and personal interview.

Preliminary Exam

Interview Procedure

After qualifying for both of the exams, prelims, and mains, one will go to the round of interviews. So, there will be a panel of 3 to 5 examiners or conductors or authority people, to conduct your interview. They will check your personality, behavior, nature, talking way, the way you express yourself, the knowledge you have, etc. However, they will choose the candidates who are capable and responsible for the various posts or jobs. Moreover, after the interview part, there will be a document verification of each candidate who goes through all of the levels. The documents that are required for the verification are:

BSSC Result 2024

The dates for the Inter-Level and the CGL exam will be declared a few weeks after the commencement of these exams. Following the announcement of the results, the shortlisted candidates will be eligible for the next round.

BSSC Exam 2024 Results

The BSSC result will be released as soon as both stages of the exam are over. On the official website of BSSC, the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) will announce the Inter-Level and CGL exam results. There will be different release dates for results. The mains and the prelims exam results are going to be separated. Most importantly, the exams of both the parts ( the prelims and mains) will have different cut-offs according to the category. Candidates can check further information on their official website, just to confirm it.

  • First, all the candidates need to go to the official site of the Bihar Staff Selection Committee (BSSC).
  • Here, under the notice board section, there will be a link to “Bihar SSC Inter-Level exam result” and “Bihar SSC CGL exam result”.
  • Candidates need to click on the desired link and open it in a new tab.
  • Here, candidates can see the results of the qualified candidates in a pdf.
  • Candidates need to download it and search individually with their roll number.
  • Thus, the roll number that gets highlighted is shortlisted.

BSSC Exam 2024 Cutoffs

The Cutoff marks for the BSSC Exam 2024 will be declared when the preliminary and main exams are completed. There will be separate cutoff marks for each category. A candidate needs to secure equal or higher marks than the cutoff marks of his/ her category to be selected for the personal interview. This year, the BSSC exam 2024 has not been conducted yet. Hence, the cutoff marks are not available at this moment.

BSSC CGL salary structure consists of different factors. These are Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travelling Allowance (TA), etc. Apart from the pay scale in which a candidate is going to join is also important. BSSC Exam 2024 Preparation Tips

In order to succeed in the BSSC Exam 2024, aspirants must have prepared throughout for a time period of at least 2-3 months before the exam. A candidate must maintain a self-made routine and follow it during that period. Apart from that, reviewing the syllabus from time to time and solving previous year’s papers can be beneficial for the aspirants. A certain amount of mental refreshment is also required for the candidates during their preparation. The written test is divided into two stages.
