MPSC is a state-level civil service exam governed by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission. The primary purpose behind this entrance exam is to recruit good candidates for the state and subordinate services or Group A, Group B, and Group C  posts of Maharashtra. MPSC full form is Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released the revised MPSC Time Table and Exam calendar of the competitive examinations on its official website mpsc.gov.in. MPSC is going to conduct several recruitment exams in the year 2022 including Maharashtra Technical Service Joint Exam, State Services Exam, Maharashtra Subordinate Services Exam, MPSC Forest Services and another exam. 

The preliminary exam is consist of total two paper in which first paper is for 200 marks with a total of 150 questions and the second paper is also for 200 marks with a total of 80 questions. Moreover, Maharashtra PSC 2022 mains consist of six papers. The marks allotted for these papers are different for different papers, and the duration of these papers is also different for different papers. The paper will be available in two languages, Marathi and English. Maharashtra PSC exam is the only gateway to enter into the Maharashtra Rajyaseva Services. Application Fee for the Maharashtra PSC Exam

Maharashtra PSC Salary Structure:

Maharashtra  Public Service Commission (Maharashtra PSC) provides different pay scales to different posts. As Maharashtra PSC has various posts under them and their salary varies as per the class of posts. The salary of selected candidates has many components like basic salary, HRA, DA, TA, and other perks and allowances. After including all the allowances and perks the salary must be in the range of INR 38,600 to 1,22,800 per month. If the salary exceeds this range, the candidate will be promoted to a higher post.  The “In-hand” salary for PSI, STI, and ASO is between INR 38,600/ – to Rs. 1,22,800/ – per month. Maharashtra PSC Syllabus

Maharashtra  Rajyaseva Service is a highly competitive exam held under Maharashtra  Public Service Commission (Maharashtra PSC). So the candidate needs to carefully go through the syllabus designed by the officials of Maharashtra PSC. The Maharashtra PSC conducts two exams for the Maharashtra  Rajyaseva Service exam. The first exam is preliminary, and another one is known as the Mains exam. Syllabus for both the paper is different. About Exam Pattern for Maharashtra PSC Exam 2022

Before starting up the MPSC exam preparation, the candidate must know the Maharashtra PSC exam pattern. Once aspirants got the idea of the exam pattern, then they are good to go for their exam preparation. Without the exam pattern knowledge, the candidate will face difficulty in exam preparation. Talking about the exam pattern, candidates must prepare themselves for the three stages of the MPSC exam- The first stage is the Prelim exam, the second stage is the Mains exam, and the last stage is Interview. MPSC 2022 will be conducted through a Prelim Exam with 2 Papers, and the Main Exam with 6 mandatory Papers. The Prelim examination serves as a qualifier for the Main exam. The authorities release the MPSC answer key for prelims soon after the exam. Candidates must obtain a min of 33% in the Prelims to be eligible for the MPSC Mains exam.

  • Both the paper comprises 200 marks each
  • Time duration of each paper is 2 hours
  • The aspirants will get a deduction of 1/4th marks for every incorrect answer. Previously, the aspirants got the deduction of ⅓ marks for every wrong answer.
  • All the questions are set in Marathi and English
  • The marks of Prelims will be counted only for shortlisting the aspirants for the MPSC Mains exam.

The aspirants, who will secure the minimum MPSC cutoff marks, decided by the Commission will be released the admit card to take the MPSC Mains Exam.

  • MPSC Mains 2022 will have 6 Papers.
  • The objective questions carry a negative marking of 1/4th for every wrong answer. Previously, the aspirants got the deduction of ⅓ marks for every wrong answer.
  • The questions of decision making in paper II has no negative marking in case of incorrectly answered questions
  • In every MPSC Mains exam paper, the qualifying marks both for General category and reserved category candidates are 45 marks and 40 marks respectively.

About Admit Card for Maharashtra PSC Exam

Candidates have to download the admit card for the Maharashtra PSC exam for this candidates should update their profile through MPSC profile update, and for that, candidates have to check out the Maharashtra  Public Service Commission (Maharashtra PSC) website. Q.3 Is MPSC an engineer?

Ans. No, MPSC is not related to engineering in particular. It is a government body named ‘Maharashtra Public Service Commission’ constituted under article 315 of the constitution of India. The body conducts MPSC exams to select group A and B civil servants for the state of Maharashtra. However, MPSC is open to engineering graduates, and it is not limited to any specific degree.

Ans. The salary for MPSC candidates depends on their post and group. Group A’s salary is higher than group B. Following are the group-wise salary for the MPSC candidates:
