The UPSC Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) refers to the body of seven security forces in India under the Ministry of Home Affairs authorization. This CAPF AC exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). The seven security forces under CAPF are Assam Rifles (AR), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), National Security Guard (NSG), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Border Security Force (BSF).
Recruitment is conducted mainly in three modes

Union Public Service Commission will be releasing the CAPF Notification 2022 on 20th April 2022. The date of the CAPF (Central Armed Police Force) online exam is August 7th, 2022. Aspiring candidates can submit their CAPF application form by 10th May 2022. The candidates need to visit the official website of UPSC to fill the application form.
Besides, the application fee is INR 200. However, there is an exemption for female and SC/ST candidates. But, before filling the application form, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria. Further, the candidates are advised to keep updated with the selection process for the CAPF AC exam.
The UPSC on 14th July has released the Admit Card for CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) AC Examination, 2021. Candidates appearing for the exam on August 8th, 2021 can download the UPSC CAPF Admit Card 2021 from the link provided here (UPSC CAPF E-ADMIT CARD). The candidates are requested to download their admit cards and take a hard copy of it. The candidates are requested to preserve the UPSC CAPF AC Admit card till the declaration of the final results of the UPSC CAPF AC 2021 Exam.

All eligible candidates should pay the application fee prescribed by the UPSC. The application fee is INR 200, which can be deposited in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using the net banking facility of the State Bank of India, or by using Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card. The candidates who belong to reserved categories such as SC/ST are exempted from paying the application fee. One should note that there is no application fee for female candidates.
For application fee payment by cash, the candidate should select the option “Pay by cash” and should print the system-generated Pay-in-Slip during Part-II of registration for UPSC CAPF AC 2021 and deposit the application fee at any of the Stank Branch as soon as possible.

Note: The applicant who got selected for the post of Assistant Commandant in any of the forces through any previous exam will not be allowed to appear at a subsequent CAPF AC exam.

The applicants will be able to download the UPSC CAPF AC 2021 Admit Card from UPSC HOME by logging in with their Registration ID and Password or date of birth. Moreover, it has been released on July 14, 2021.

The UPSC released 2 files related to CAPF AC 2021 Result, one specifies only the roll numbers of qualified applicants, and another specifies roll numbers and names of the qualified candidates.
The CAPF AC 2021 Merit List will be prepared on basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the Online Examination Personality Test, and Interview.
The CAPF AC cut-off marks will be depending upon various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of candidates appeared, the number of vacancies, and other mischievous facts.

Ans. CAPF AC exam is conducted in offline mode and it involves three stages:
1) Written Paper
Paper-I includes Mental & General Ability, it is for 250 marks and the time duration for this section is 2 hours.
Paper-II includes General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension, it is for 200 marks and the time duration for this section is 3 hours.
2) Physical Test
100 meters race – The time limit for men and women is 16 seconds and 18 seconds respectively.
800 meters race – The time limit for men and women is 3 minutes 45 seconds and 4 minutes 45 seconds respectively.
Long jump – The qualifying distances for men and women are 3.5 meters and 3 meters respectively.
Shot put – The qualifying distance for men is 4.5 meters.
3) Interview
This round is for 150 marks.
Ans. The average salary of a person who qualifies CAPF is around Rs. 50,000. Which is a good start.
Ans. UPSC holds the CAPF exam once every year. The final process of the CAPF AC exam takes more than one year to complete.
Ans. Yes, there is a provision of penalty in case of wrong answers but it is applicable only in Paper 1.
