Canara Bank PO Exam Pattern 2024

Before enrolling and starting their exam preparation, students must review the exam format. The Canara Bank PO examination consists of a 200-marks objective-style paper. The exam has three rounds:

  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Panel Discussion
  3. Interview

To move through to the subsequent stage, the applicants must pass each one. They must pass the computer-based digital examination during the initial phase to participate in the group discussion and interviewing. IBPS will determine the total cut-off scores for every section.

There will be a 0.25 marks deduction for each incorrect response throughout the online examination. To advance to the subsequent screening phase, applicants who take the exam must achieve the necessary cut-off scores in each category. The GD is divided into two stages and gives applicants three minutes to compose down the subject matter, including their arguments of contention.

Every applicant gets four overall minutes to speak. They must present their viewpoint during the initial two minutes, and then participants must restate it for the final two minutes. Following the GD, there will be a 15 to 20-minute break before the interview.

Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination

Every question is worth one point. For each incorrect response, 0.25 points are deducted from the final score. There won’t be any deduction for not attempting a problem. Despite a time constraint, there are also sectional cutoff marks. This demonstrates that applicants must also achieve the minimal sectional cutoff and total cutoffs to pass the examination.
