JKSSB is a recruiting board established by the Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir. It aims to conduct exams for various departmental services or non-gazetted posts in Jammu & Kashmir. Also, J&K became two Union Territories of J&K under the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019.
Previously, many announcements are issued by the JKSSB which is one of the major recruitment bodies. The ads are under the Revenue Department, Administrative Department, Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department, and Skill Development Department. But, The most recent are two advertisements for District/Divisional/UT Cadre posts of various Departments. It is under the provisions of the J&K Civil Services – Decentralization and Recruitment Act, 2010. Precisely, the vacancies are from various departments such as Animal/Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Forest, Ecology and Environment, General Administration Department. Even, some vacancies are from Health & Medical Education, and Department of Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

Further, on the official portal of JKSSB, the release date of Advt. No. 03/ 2021 was 4th June 2021. Where as, Advt. No. 04/ 2021 was posted on 17th July 2021.

A two-stage selection method is used by the JKSSB for recruitment. In order to get posted, candidates must clear both the written examination and the document verification. In the end, the candidates who pass the written test will be called for document verification. For JKSSB document verification, the following documents must be presented-
The JKSSB releases the written exam results as soon as possible on the JKSSB’s official site. Then, the students can check their exam results to know if they succeeded or failed. At the end, students’ written exam scores for the JKSSB will decide whether or not they are called in for document verification. Document Verification is the next and last step in the selection process
