As per the Notification released on 11th April 2023, the application process will start on 17th April 2023 and end on 16th May 2023. Candidates should complete the process before the due time so that their applications are not rejected.
The payment of application fees is the last stage of the application process. The fees, once paid, are not refunded by the officials under any circumstances. The candidates can pay the fees online through Credit or Debit cards and net banking. Officials will reject the applications who submit their applications without paying the fees.

As there is no rule for fee payment through offline mode. Therefore, aspirants have to pay the fee through the online system only. All issues related to the reimbursement of excess payment, if any, are resolved by the JKSSB. Candidates are advised to request a refund of any excess payment only through the official site. The JKSSB’s selection process consists of a Written exam and Document Verification. The selection board also examines various criteria during the final merit list preparation. It differs across Union Territories, Divisional Cadre, and District Cadre.

It is the second and last stage of the selection process. Candidates who pass the written test with the needed cut-off marks will be called for Document Verification. Candidates must provide the original documents and a self-attested Photocopy of each document given below. You will have to download the admit card from the official website of JKSSB. Here are the steps to download the same:
1) Go to JKSSB’s official website.
2) Click the search button on the left-hand side of the homepage.
3) You will be redirected to the JKSSB Hall Tickets 2023 page if you search for Admit Card.

The results will be declared after completion of the exam. The results are declared one to two months after the successful completion of the exam. The registration process will end on 16th May 2023; after that, the officials will release the date for the exam. In order to score well in the exam and get good results, candidates should start their preparation on time.
There will be no interview round after the written exam. The selected candidates get call for document verification. Candidates must keep the documents handy before the end of the examination. The applicants who are unable to produce the documents as and when asked their application will get rejected.
The highest age restriction for General Category applicants to the JKSSB is 40 years old. The maximum age for candidates who fall under the SC/ST category is 43, and it is 42 for those who are physically challenged.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream from an accredited university with a minimum of 50% for OP (general) and 45% for reserved category candidates. Candidates must be 10th (Matric) Pass or Intermediate Qualified from a Recognized Board to be considered for sophistication 4th Posts.
At the time of document verification, candidates must be able to produce the asked documents. The documents can be:
1) Mark sheets for the specific certificate or degree that the candidates have earned.
2) A directive or letter addressing the alleged equal educational standing.
3) Certificate of Caste or Category if the candidates fall under a protected category.
