South Indian Bank is a commercial bank in India headquartered in Thrissur, Kerala. They conduct the South Indian Bank clerk every year during the months of August –September.
The notifications for the same will be released in the month of July each year, except for this year, due to unforeseen pandemic situations, the exam has been postponed. SIB Clerk exam is a single exam conducted online. This means there is only one chance for qualifying for the exam. And after clearing the same, you will have to go through a personal interview. However, there are two parts of the exam that you need to know. They are:
Candidates who qualify for the exam will be placed as the probationary clerk for six months and then, as per their performance, they will be finalized for the post. And once you are selected for the post you can work anywhere in India.

The official notification of the exam has not been released yet due to the ongoing pandemic. But the tentative month in which the exam will begin is June 2021. The notification will have several vacancies, eligibility criteria, and reservation policy.

Every exam has certain eligibility criteria, which the candidate has to qualify to attempt the exam. Similarly, the SIB clerk has its set eligibility criteria which the candidate has to qualify. Following are the points based on which the SIB eligibility criteria:
The candidate must have 60% marks in their SSLC/Higher secondary examination from a recognized board. And they should have completed their graduation with 60% of marks from a recognized university. Candidates who have attended their final year and are waiting for their results can also apply for the examination.
The Age limit for attempting the exam is 26 years for the General category and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST which is 31. And the minimum age limit is 19 years. No candidate below the minimum age should apply for the examination.
The applicant must be an Indian and own Indian citizenship to be able to attend the examination.
The candidates need to ensure that while filling the application they enter their language proficiency skills. Apart from English, candidates should know Malayalam, Tamil, Telegu and Hindi. The more languages you know, the more opportunity you get in terms of employment in the south Indian banks.
