About IBPS & IBPS RRB PO Exam 

IBPS conducts recruitment examinations through a standard recruitment program for all Public Sector Banks.

IBPS RRB PO comprises three stages of preliminary selection exam, main exam, and interview round. There is a single IBPS RRB PO application for all three phases. However, separate admit cards for each Exam.

Candidates need to clear the preliminary exam successfully. A preliminary exam is a qualifying exam for the further stages of the selection process. Only successful candidates can attend the main Exam.

Similarly, candidates who qualify for the main Exam will have to appear in interview rounds. The Nodal Regional Rural Banks will conduct a formal recruitment interview with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.

Candidates who successfully clear the interview appointed as Scale I Officer in Regional Rural Banks in participating banks.

IBPS RBB PO Exam Dates 

IBPS has yet to announce the exam dates for the post of Probationary Officer/Scale I Officer. However, the notification will be out in June 2021, and all dates related to the Exam will be available.

IBPS RRB PO Eligibility Criteria 

A candidate must fill the required eligibility criteria to be part of the recruitment process. 

A candidate has to meet the age and education qualification criteria to apply for this recruitment. The following are the eligibility criteria for IBPS RRB PO. 

Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants: 

A candidate must be an Indian citizen to applying for IBPS RRB PO Examination.

Age:  

Above 18 years – Below 30 years 

Relaxation of Upper age limit  

There are some relaxations for the upper age limit candidate related to backward class and service officers.

Educational Qualifications (as on the last date of Online): 

Candidate needs to be graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. 

Note: A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II

IBPS RRB PO vacancies 2021 

IBPS RRB PO 2021 notification will be out in June 2021, and vacancies will be announced now. So, keep checking as information will be updated as soon as news is out. 

How to apply? 

IBPS will be opening the online registration window of IBPS RRB PO in June 2021. Therefore, candidates can apply for the Exam once the notification is out for hiring in June 2021.

The application form will be made available on IBPS Official website. The steps to fill IBPS RRB PO application form are explained below.

Step 1: IBPS RRB PO Registration 

  • Visit the official website. 
  • Click the link ‘New Registration’ on the home page of IBPS 
  • Enter name, phone number, email id, and security code 
  • Upon successful registration, a provisional registration number and password are generated. 
  • The provisional registration number and password are also sent to the registered email ID and password. 

Step 2: Upload Photo and Signature 

  • Post-registration, candidates need to upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration
  • Signature in capital letters will not be accepted 
  • The left thumb impression should be properly visible
  • The handwritten statement should be in English only

Step 3: Fill the detailed application form 

This form is divided into three parts, basic details, educational qualification & experience, and preferences. Check details below: 

Basic details: In this part, candidates need to fill in the category, nationality, personal information, select exam centers, date of birth, gender, father’s name or mother’s name, address, etc. 

Educational Qualification, Work Experience & Languages: Here, candidates need to enter details of their graduation such as year of passing, college, percentage of marks, grade (if any). They are also required to enter their work experience and the languages they can read, write and speak. 

Preferences: Candidates need to enter the preferences of banks where they wish to work upon selection. SC/ST/Minority candidates can opt for pre-exam training in this part. 

Step 4: Preview of IBPS RRB PO application form 

Candidates must preview the application form before the final submission. Then, they can edit the details entered in the application form while validating the same. Once this is complete, candidates need to agree to the terms and conditions and submit their applications. 

Step 5: IBPS RRB PO fee payment 

  • Candidates need to follow the steps below for making payment. 
  • The payment modes use Debit/ Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, and Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information.
  • After the successful transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. 
  • Candidates must print the e-receipt as well as the online application form that contains the fee payment information.
