About Exam-

The Kerala Police Recruitment consists of the following stages-

Firstly,Prelim written exam (Objective-type questions-based exam).

Secondly,PMT-Physical Measurement Test (Candidate must meet Physical Standards discussed below which is given by Kerala police Department).

Phase 3- Document verification / Interview-

  • Firstly, after clearing the written exam and PET, the Candidate’s documents will be verified. Board will validate candidates given information.
  • After approval, the candidate will be permitted for Medical Test.
  • Finally, the Candidate is being selected.
  • The candidate’s name will be given on Final List.

Phase 4- Finally, candidates who are selected for the post, their names will be mentioned in the Final Rank List.

About Exam- Sub Inspector

  • The Sub Inspector selection process is divided into the following phases-

Firstly, a written exam.

The written exam will be the OMR exam. The nature of questions asked will be the objective type or Multiple-choice question it will have 100 questions for 100 marks. Time duration will be 75 minutes.

Phase-II comprises a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

The candidate’s Physical measurement will be taken at the time of the Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates who do not possess prescribed physical measurements will not be admitted for PET.

  • If an accident or injury happens to the candidate while participating in the PET, he/she will not be given another chance to participate.
  • Candidate must have their Medical Certificate in original form as prescribed.
  • The candidate must have eyesight without glasses at the time of PET.

NOTE: Medical Certificate should be submitted. It has to be from a Medical Officer under the Government not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon.

Candidates who will qualify for the written test will be called for the PET. It consists of 8 events. Candidates need to qualify for 5 out of 8 events in this phase with the one-star standard.

  • The officials released the vacancies for Kerala PSC Sub Inspector for two departments;

– Firstly, the Department of Kerala Civil Police.

-Secondly, the Department of Armed Police Battalion.

  • Women cannot apply for the Armed Police Battalion but are only eligible to apply for the post of Department of Kerala Civil Police.
  • The admit card will be released by the authorities before the examination. (2-3 weeks before).
  • The applicants will be evaluated based on marks scored in both phases of the Kerala PSC Sub Inspector recruitment process.

Phase-III- Document Verification / Interview

Kerala Police 2021 Application Fees 

KERALA POLICE RECRUITMENT POLICE CONSTABLE-

  • The applicants can deposit the fee online mode by paying through internet banking, debit/credit card (RuPay, visa, master card), NEFT, E-challan.
  • The candidates can take a printout of the fee slip, after successfully depositing it.
    • Unreserved/ OBC: Rs 300
    • SC/ ST Candidates: Rs 130/
    • Mode of Payment: Fee can be paid through E-Challan or net banking/ Credit/ Debit cards of any limit.

KERALA POLICE RECRUITMENT SUB-INSPECTOR-

As per last year’s notification, there will be absolutely no fee for filling up the online application form. No candidate will be required to pay any amount of the application fee irrespective of their category, age, or gender.

Kerala Police SI Educational Qualification Criteria:

All the candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector post must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree. The degree should be from a university recognized by the Government of Kerala or UGC or awarded by National Institutes established by the Government of India.

In the case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates, if a sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed Pre-University / Pre-Degree or equivalent Exams of recognized University shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (I).

Other Eligibility Requirements for Kerala PSC SI 2021

TRAINING PERIOD-

Firstly, every Candidate selected as Police Constable will go through 9 months of police training.

PROBATION PERIOD-
