About Exam-
The Kerala Police Recruitment consists of the following stages-
Firstly,Prelim written exam (Objective-type questions-based exam).
Secondly,PMT-Physical Measurement Test (Candidate must meet Physical Standards discussed below which is given by Kerala police Department).
Minimum physical standards criteria are defined for the candidates by Kerala Police. They are:

Phase 3- Document verification / Interview-
Phase 4- Finally, candidates who are selected for the post, their names will be mentioned in the Final Rank List.
Firstly, a written exam.
The written exam will be the OMR exam. The nature of questions asked will be the objective type or Multiple-choice question it will have 100 questions for 100 marks. Time duration will be 75 minutes.

The candidate’s Physical measurement will be taken at the time of the Physical Efficiency Test. Candidates who do not possess prescribed physical measurements will not be admitted for PET.
NOTE: Medical Certificate should be submitted. It has to be from a Medical Officer under the Government not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon.
Candidates who will qualify for the written test will be called for the PET. It consists of 8 events. Candidates need to qualify for 5 out of 8 events in this phase with the one-star standard.
– Firstly, the Department of Kerala Civil Police.
-Secondly, the Department of Armed Police Battalion.
This stage incorporates a Documents check and Interviews. Candidates with legitimate records will be considered qualified for the post.

Note- Last time the Kerala PSC Sub Inspector post was announced was in the year 2015. So, this year a high number of vacancies are expected.

KERALA POLICE RECRUITMENT POLICE CONSTABLE-
KERALA POLICE RECRUITMENT SUB-INSPECTOR-
As per last year’s notification, there will be absolutely no fee for filling up the online application form. No candidate will be required to pay any amount of the application fee irrespective of their category, age, or gender.
Kerala Police Eligibility for SI:
All the candidates must carefully go through the Kerala Police SI Eligibility Criteria before applying for the post to ensure their eligibility for the post offered.

Kerala Police SI Educational Qualification Criteria:
All the candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector post must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree. The degree should be from a university recognized by the Government of Kerala or UGC or awarded by National Institutes established by the Government of India.
In the case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates, if a sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed Pre-University / Pre-Degree or equivalent Exams of recognized University shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (I).

Note: Candidates must note that there are only two categories (category I & II) of recruitment for the Armed Police Battalion Department.
The 2020 notification announced the vacancies for 2 departments: Armed Police Battalion and Kerala Civil local department.
Eligible male candidates can apply for both of those departments.
There is no vacancy for female candidates within the Armed local department.

Some Information Regarding Police Constable is given below-
TRAINING PERIOD-
Firstly, every Candidate selected as Police Constable will go through 9 months of police training.
Moreover, During the time of training, the selected candidate will be paid an allowance equivalent to the base of the size of pay of the Police Constable.
The time of training will not be meant for probation or augmentation.
PROBATION PERIOD-
From the date of joining, the Probation period will be for 2 years, for continuous 3 years.
BOND-
Before joining, candidates will submit an obligation of Rs.5,000/ – such that they will serve the division for a base time of long term.
Candidates getting ready for Kerala Police Recruitment should go to the syllabus completely to abstain from missing any scoring region. Realizing the syllabus ahead of time is a piece of arrangements venture.
