About JSSC and JSSC exam

The Jharkhand staff selection commission is commonly referred to as JSSC. It is a state-level selection commission for the state Jharkhand. This commission is headed by a chairman and two representatives who are from the government departments. The JSSC 2021 Exam holds the responsibility of recruiting candidates to fill the vacancies available in government offices.

The candidates can check the eligibility criteria and apply for the respective post interests. Fill the online application form. The application is yet to be released for the year 2021. It is expected to be in September of 2021. And is said to close by October 2021 tentatively. A total vacancy of 1260 and above is expected this year.

The JSSC CGL (combined graduate level) has various posts in it. It is done for recruitment of Assistant branch officer, block supply officer, block welfare officer, planning assistant, co-operative expansion officer, zonal inspector cum law officer.

The JSSC 2021 exam consists of preliminary and mains stages. There is a admit card that will be released after every exam. JSSC Exam notification and News

The Jharkhand staff selection commission (JSSC) will release the notifications for various posts on their official website.  JSSC online application will be released soon. The starting date and the last date to apply for the exam will be posted in the official notification. All the graduates can check their eligibility criteria and apply for the needed posts. Interested candidates can refer further to know further about the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, how to apply for the exam.

The JSSC will post the notifications on the 2nd week of September tentatively. The data includes details such as the number of available positions, the exam patterns, calculating the scores, etc.

JSSC 2021 Application fee

There is a registration fee for the application process. After filling the application form, the next step is to pay the registration fee as per the category. If the fee is not paid, then the application is said to be rejected by the exam board.

Educational qualifications:

The applicant must be a graduate holder of any field from a recognized institute/ university in India.

Age restrictions:  The minimum age limit for all the posts and categories are 21 years as of 25th January 2020.

Age limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum limit is 40 years for the posts below.

  • LOWER DIVISION CLERK: The candidates should have completed 12th. They should have a typing speed of 25 wpm in Hindi on a computer.
  • PANCHAYAT SECRETARY: candidates must have completed 12th. They should have good knowledge of computers.
  • STENOGRAPHER: The candidates should have completed 12th. They should have a 30 wpm typing speed.


JSSC CGL Recruitment vacancy 2021

The number of vacancies for the year 2021 is not announced yet. For the last year’s recruitment, a total of 1260 vacancies in the JSSC CGL, out of which 362  for the assistant bureau officers, 223 for the block supply officers, 139  for the block welfare officers, 170 for the zone inspectors, 5 for the planning assistants, and 120 for the panchayat raj officers. The distribution is according to the government rules of reservation for specific categories.

Documents to be carried with the JSSC Admit card 2021

The candidates need to carry a valid government id proof along with them to the examination center. During the examination, the candidates need to submit their ID proof to the invigilator. Carry the following documents:

To download the results, the candidates have to follow the below instructions.

The results will be posted on the official website only. The final merit list will be based on the marks generated upon the qualifying marks. How to Apply For JSSC 2021 Recruitment?

Check the eligibility criteria before applying further. After checking and verifying, fill in the online application form and submit it on their official website. The application mode is through the online process. After applying online, they should pay the fee according to the roles that they have selected and applied for. The payment step is necessary, if failed the application will not be considered further. There are certain relaxations in the payment of the fees for the special and reserved castes/ candidates which is as per the government norms.

Step-05: Enter all the details asked and register your mobile number and email id.

Step- 06: After registering the mobile number and email id, select the “use registration details and password to login into the portal using the specified JSSC recruitment link to fill up the application form”.

Step-07:  After entering all the personal details, upload a passport size photograph and a signature and the caste/ special reserved certificate in a document/image format.

Step-08:  Now, it will be directed to the payment slab. Select any suitable payment mode to pay the application fee.

Step-09:  After paying the fee, submit the application form and end the application process.


JSSC CGL 2021 Selection process

The selection process for the JSSC recruitment process has two steps: A written test and an interview.

Written test: The candidates who have applied for JSSC recruitment must download their respective admit cards before the written test. The date and time of the test will be given on the admit card.

Interview: The candidates will be shortlisted based on the number of marks they obtained in their written examinations. The shortlisted candidates can undergo the interview for their respective roles.


JSSC CGL Recruitment selection process for the year 2021

The selection process to get a job under the Jharkhand government as Assistant Bureau officer, Block supply officer, Block welfare officer, Zone inspector, Co-operative extension head, Planning assistant, Block panchayat raj officer, there are two stages.

  • Stage 1: The preliminary examination

The preliminary exam is an online exam. The general knowledge and mental ability are tested. The exam question paper is available in English and Hindi languages. Also, basic knowledge about the Jharkhand state is required.

  • Stage 2: Mains examination

The candidates who clear the preliminary exam are eligible for the mains exam. This exam is based on language skills, regional or tribal languages, a basic understanding of mathematics and science. The candidates who clear the mains examination will be further processed to document verification and counseling to assign the respective posts.

 Preparation tips for JSSC Exam

  • Firstly, study the entire syllabus and the exam pattern very carefully. Then, make a proper study plan.
  • Have a very clear idea of the syllabus and the concepts perfectly. Maintain notes of each concept topic-wise.
  • Do not follow many books, pick one or two and complete those books fully.
  • Also, give regular mock tests.
  • Solve the previous year’s question papers.
  • Allot an equal amount of time for all the sections.
