The SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2023 is based on age group, nationality, and educational level. Any candidate whose eligibility for the SSC stenographer recruitment is determined to be ineligible at any point throughout the exam will have their application revoked.
The SSC Stenographer exam requires a minimum of a 10+2 diploma or its equivalent from a recognized Board or university to be eligible to take the test.
All the degrees provided, including technical education degrees/diplomas awarded through Open and Distance Learning modes of education by the Universities, are recognized for employment in services under the Central Government. It must be checked that the Distance Education Bureau, University Grants Commission, has approved them.
All applicants must present all pertinent documents in their original form, including mark sheets and provisional certificates from intermediate, higher secondary, and senior high school.

In favour of candidates who fall under categories 2, 3, 4, and 5 above, the Indian government will provide an eligibility certificate.
The official notice states that there is no restriction on the number of tries for the SST Stenographer test. The number of times a candidate can take the test while still meeting the age requirement is up to them.

Candidates who are in their final year of military service and are scheduled to be released between January 1, 2020, and August 31, 2022 are eligible for an age relaxation. Such applicants will only be qualified to apply for positions at the Inter-Service Organisation and Armed Forces Headquarters.
