UKSSSC stands for Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission. It is a government body. UKSSSC hires students for Government jobs by taking various exams. It was formed in 2014.

The application mode will be online. Students need to create an account on UKSSSC’s official website to fill the form.

Students should have at least passed 12th grade with proficiency in written Hindi in Devanagari.
The age limit for men, women and reserved students are from 21 years to 35 years.

Students applying for either of the posts need an undergraduate degree from a recognized university.
The age limit for applying for the posts of village registrars are from 21 years to 28 years. (Applicable for men, women and reserved candidates)
For accountants, it is from 21 years to 35 years. (Applicable for men, women and reserved candidates)
Students should have a B. ED degree or an equivalent qualification.
Note- The requirement for the B. ED degree has been removed for the Art teachers in the recent correction. So, candidates without a degree can also apply now.
The age limit for men, women and reserved candidates is 21 years to 42 years.

There are 391 total vacancies for Village Registrars and 163 vacancies for accountants.
There are 1431 vacancies in total for the position of Assistant teacher. The divisions are done location wise. The sub-divisions are done position and recruitment wise. Here the word, “General” indicates people from all castes who are not women.

The exam will have 100 questions. They will be based on technical knowledge up to the diploma level in Civil Engineering. Each question will carry a mark. Apart from this, there will be three more exams based on General Knowledge, Hindi and General Studies.
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. The time allotted will be two hours. It will be an offline MCQ based exam. The minimum qualifying marks is 45/100 for general candidates and 35/100 for minority candidates.
There will be three sections. These sections are General Knowledge (GK), Hindi and General Studies. There will be 100 questions in each exam with a mark allotted to each question. Therefore, the total marks will be 100. The time duration will be two hours.
There will be negative marking in all these exams (0.25 marks). The cut off marks are the same as that of the Junior Engineer. It will be MCQ based.
In addition to the above pattern, this exam has an extra quantitative paper which has 100 marks for 100 questions. The time duration will be two hours. Students can also choose English as a language paper instead of Hindi for this exam.
Moreover, there will be a physical measurement and physical efficiency test.
The exam pattern for the junior assistant is given in a table format. The time will be one hour.

There will be a personal interview round after the written exam.
It will be objective-based. The difficulty of the questions will be of high school level. There will be only one exam of 100 marks. The total time given will be two hours. There will be a negative marking for each wrong question of 0.25.
The qualifying marks are similar to that of the previous positions mentioned here (45% for general and 35% for OBC).
The questions will be based on Commerce subjects. There will be 100 questions and marks will be 100.
The question paper will be MCQ based and have 100 marks. The time given will be two hours. The board will ask questions on teaching aptitude, the concerned subject and reasoning. There will be a personal interview after the written exam.
This paper is also MCQ based. The difficulty of the questions will be of high school level (with a science background). It will be for two hours.

UKSSSC has released the admit card for the Assistant Teacher’s post. The exam date is 8th August 2021. The board releases the admit card 10 days before the exam date. Students can download the admit card from the official website of UKSSSC.

Ans. There are no upcoming exams as of now. The last exam held was that of the Assistant teacher’s post on 8th August 2021. One can check the official website for more details and notifications.
Ans. No. UKSSSC does not allow correction in the registration form once it’s submitted. So, one has to be very careful while filling the form. UKSSSC will cancel the form if a mistake is found.
Ans. One has to wait for 48 hours. Due to technical issues, the fee might not get deposited. If one does not get the receipt within 48 hours then they have to repay the fee again. When the commission receives the initial fee, then the extra money will automatically be refunded.
