Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate willing to apply for the ESIC Recruitment Procedure 2024 needs to fall under any one of the below-mentioned categories to be eligible. Those are as follows:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 01st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

Application Steps

Once the application process is started, candidates need to start filling up the application form and submit it before the date mentioned in the official notification. The application form will be released on the official website of the ESIC. Here are the steps that are mentioned below a candidate can follow to fill up the application form correctly.

  • First, all eligible candidates must visit the official website of the ESIC.
  • Here, the home page will open on the screen. Candidates need to click on the ‘Recruitment’ section, which is available at the top of the home page.
  • After that, it will redirect to a page containing a list of notifications released by the ESIC for various posts.
  • Then, the candidates need to find and select the official notification for the recruitment to various posts of ESIC 2024.
  • Now, by clicking on the notification, a registration page will open. The candidates need to fill in his/her details name, and contact number at the appropriate place mentioned on that page.
  • Then, an OTP will be sent to the mobile number that is registered by the candidate in the previous step. The candidates need to enter the OTP received on their mobile to complete the registration process.
  • Once successfully completed the registration process, the candidate will be able to start filling out the application form.
  • In the application form, the candidate needs to fill in the required details and upload the documents that are asked for. Candidates must be aware of the dimensions of the documents as specified in the official notification.

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) conducts the recruitment process for various posts every year. The recruitment process of the ESIC for the Faculty, Super Specialist, Specialist, Senior Resident, and Tutors posts for this year has started. The ESIC releases interview dates.

How to Download an Admit Card?

The admit card is the most important document for any candidate who is going to take the test. Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam center. Hence, all the candidates must carry their individual admit cards while entering the exam center.

  1.  At first, all the candidates need to visit the official website of the ESIC. The home page will appear on the screen.
  2. On the home page, the candidate has to find the link to download the ESIC 2024 admit card. Now, the candidates need to click on the link and it will be redirected to the ESIC Candidate login page portal.
  3. Now, they have to enter the login credentials: Registration or Roll number and DOB or password.
  4. After entering the login credentials, candidates will be able to see that individual Admit Card will appear on the screen.
  5. Now, the candidates have to download the admit card and take a printout.
  6. Last but not least, the candidates must go through each piece of information mentioned on the admit card. If there are any discrepancies in the admit card, then the candidates must contact the concerned official authority as soon as possible.

Documents to Carry with ESIC Admit Card

Candidates who are going to take the ESIC 2024 Exam, must take the following documents with them.

  • Valid ESIC Admit Card for the ESIC UDC/ Steno/ MTS 2024 Exam.
  • Valid and Original photo-identity proof, the photo-identity proof should display the candidates’ name.

Candidates can carry one of the following Photo ID cards such as Voter ID/ Employee ID/ College ID/PAN card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Aadhar Card/ Any other ID proof issued by a Gazetted Officer/ A college/university-issued identification card.

  • The candidate needs to carry a photocopy of their identity proof, the photocopy will be submitted to the invigilator.

ESIC UDC 2024 Exam Pattern

The ESIC 2024 recruitment process consists of three stages, Prelims, Mains, and Computer Skill Test (if required). So, the candidate needs to appear for the Prelims stage first, which is qualifying in nature. The candidates also need to qualify in the Mains Stage. Once you cleared both the examinations you will be selected for the next process of recruiting. Likewise, the last stage of the examination will have a computer knowledge test, which is to check the candidate’s computer knowledge. ESIC UDC Preliminary Exam Pattern

  • The examination will be conducted online.
  • There will be a total of 100 questions and each question will carry 2 marks.
  • All the candidates will get 1 hour or 60 minutes to complete all four sections of the examination.
  • Generally, this stage is qualifying in nature.
  • Also, the examination will be in a Bilingual Language (Hindi/ English).
  • Moreover, for every wrong answer given by a candidate, one-fourth of the mark assigned to that question will be deducted from the total marks obtained by him/ her.

  • There will be a total of 200 questions in this exam.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark.
  • The examination will be conducted for 2 hours.

ESIC Stenographer Exam Pattern

The ESIC Stenographer recruitment will be carried out in 2 stages that are Mains Examination and Computer Skill Test and Stenography Test. So, the candidate needs to qualify in all three examinations to qualify for the next process.  Likewise, The last stage of the examination will test the candidate’s computer knowledge and there will also be a stenography test.

  • The examination will be conducted online.
  • There will be three sections in this stage and each section will carry a different number of questions and the duration for each section will also be different.
  • There will be a total of 200 questions and each question will carry 1 mark.
  • The total time given for this stage is 130 minutes.

ESIC Stenography Test

ESIC 2024 Recruitment Result and Cutoffs

Once the examination is finished the candidates can get their results within one or two weeks. Generally, it will be released on the official website. The Result for the ESIC Recruitment 2024 will be released after every stage: Prelims, Mains, and the Computer Skill tests. ESIC Salary Structure

  • As per the 7th pay commission, for both UDC and Stenographer, the basic pay will be Rs. 25,500. However, for the MTS posts, the basic pay will be 18,800.
  • Besides the pay scale, the candidate will receive various benefits and allowances like Dearness Allowances (DA), Housing Renting Allowances (HRA), Travel Allowances (TA), and other such allowances as decided by the Central Government.
