The PPSC CCE 2021 preliminary exam is held in two shifts of two hours each. For 200 marks, the PPSC CCE Prelims question paper consists of 100 objective type single choice questions in Paper-1 and 80 questions in Paper-2. There is no penalty for incorrect responses.

In its official notification, the PPSC stated the following types of cut-offs for the PPSC CCE 2021 Examination:
According to the official notification, the cut-off for the PPSC CCE 2021 Preliminary exam will be based on the number of candidates selected for the PPSC CCE Mains Examination being 13 times the number of vacancies released, which is 77.
For the Mains Exam, a number of candidates, no more than three times the number of vacancies, will be chosen for the Interview.
The PPSC has established the following minimum qualifying cut-off:

PPSC Exam Dates, Fees, Eligibility & Notification
The PPSC will announce the PPSC cut-off for Prelims, Mains Exam, and Final Cut-off, which will include interview marks.
Candidates who clear the PPSC CCE Prelims cut-off will be eligible to write the Mains Exam. The PPSC Prelims Result contains a list of candidates who passed the PPSC Prelims exam.
The PPSC preliminary exam cut off will be calculated based on the applicants’ marks out of a total of 400 marks (200 marks for each Paper)
PPSC Mains Exam Cut Off: The PPSC 2021 mains exam cut off will be calculated out of 1350 marks. Candidates who pass the Mains will be invited to the final round: The Personal Interview.
PPSC Final Cut Off: This is the PPSC’s final cut-off. A list of candidates who pass the final cut-off, which is calculated based on Mains and Interview marks, is published. In PPSC, the interview is worth 150 points, and the final cut-off is based on a total of 1500 points.
