IBPS conducts the hiring process each year for clerk positions in public sector banks. There are two stages in the hiring process. First, for each exam, candidates get IBPS Clerk admit card.

First, let’s discuss a bit about the hiring process.

IBPS Clerk examination has two stages:

  1. Prelims Exam, 
  2. Mains Exam

Let’s start with the the steps involved, what information we get in the admit card, and the document to carry with the IBPS PO admit card. Admit card consists of the time, venue, and exam related guidelines.

The IBPS PO Prelims test is the first step in the hiring process of IBPS PO. Following the successful completion of the application process, candidates will be given prelims admit cards.

Candidates who successfully clear the Prelims Exam will qualify for the mains exam. The admit card for the mains exam will be provided to prelims qualified candidates.

How to download admit card? 

First, lets start with the steps:

  • First, need to open the IBPS Website.
  • Click the link ‘IBPS Clerk admit card’ on the home page 
  • Enter the login credentials: 

  1. Registration or Roll number 
  2. DOB or password 

  • Admit card 2020 appears on the screen 
  • Download the admit card and take its printout

The information on the IBPS Clerk hall ticket must match the information on the IBPS application form. Candidates must cross-check these facts on the IBPS Clerk admit card to ensure that they are correct.

Candidates should report any missing information to the authority and get it corrected. The following are the details from the IBPS Clerk admit card:

Documents to carry with IBPS PO admit card

For the IBPS PO exam, candidates need to carry the following documents –

  • Valid IBPS PO call letter for the date and sessions of exam
  • Original photo-identity proof displaying the candidates’ names as they appear on the application form
  • Photo-identity proof photocopy 
  • Two passport-sized photographs

The examination authority accepts the following photo-identity proofs at the time of identity verification.

  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Voter’s card
  • Driving license
  • Bank passbook
  • Photo-identity proof, along with a photograph, issued by a gazette officer/representative people’s
  • A college/university-issued identification card

Identity proofs not accepted for verification

  •  Ration card
  •  Learner’s driving license


IBPS Clerk Admit Card: Important Points

  • A candidate needs to make sure that he/she has a good internet connection while downloading the Admit Card.
  • Candidates should carry their admit card to the venue. Also, attach their passport size photos to the mentioned place (same as uploaded in the online application form).
  • Remember to keep extra copies of the Admit Card with you to avoid any errors on the examination date. In addition to after downloading, keep a note of your exam timing and exam center to have a good exam day.
  • It has been clearly stated that IBPS won’t send the Admit Card hard copy via post to the candidates. There are some rules that a candidate needs to download his/her Admit Card.
  • To access the online exam site, enter your User ID and Password from the call letter.
  • After logging in, your name and other information will appear on the screen. Please double-check and confirm the accuracy of these details.
  • Further, Disclosure of User ID & Password to 3rd party shall be at the risk & responsibility of the candidate.
  • Candidates must bring the call letter and photo identity proof (such as a PAN Card, Passport, Permanent Driving License, Voter’s Card, Bank Passbook with a photograph, or Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazette Officer).
