The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts central recruitment process (CRP) for selecting Clerical position for Cadre X, XI and XII respectively based on their vacancies in participating banks every year. IBPS official website display notifications for each Clerical cadre position separately as there will be a separate examination for each cadre of clerical post separately. The recruitment process has two stages for the post of clerk.
Candidates appearing for Clerical level of cadre X, XI or XII should apply online only once for both these stages. There will be separate Admit cards for each of the stage. The candidate who qualify preliminary exam successfully will only able to appear for mains exam. Candidates who qualify successfully in mains exam will only be selected provisionally for the clerical position in the preferred bank or based on the vacancies in that bank.
The first stage of IBPS Clerk exam will be preliminary exam in recruitment process. After successful completion of online application, candidate will be received their registration number and login details. The call letter or admit card download link will be declared on IBPS official website for candidates to download and carry a print out at exam centre.
Candidates who qualify the Prelims Exam successfully will move for the mains exam. Candidates who have successfully qualified in IBPS Clerk prelim exam will be able to download their admit card /call letter for mains exam.
Only qualified candidates in preliminary exam will become eligible to appear main exam. The mains admit card will be announced after the results of preliminary exam.
It is essential for candidate to ensure that the information displayed on their admit card (hall ticket) is correct and does not have any incomplete information. Candidates should inform about missing information to the exam authorities and get it rectified.

IBPS exam authorities announce list of cities where exam will get conducted and the exam venue locations for prelims, mains and pre-exam training workshops on their official website. The number of exam venue locations in particular city will depend on the number of candidates appearing the exam from that particular city.
The exam centre for IBPS Clerk 2022 exam will be allotted based on candidate’s selection during applying for the exam. The exam centers once allotted by authorities cannot be changed.
