If the speculations based on the previous years go correctly, the admit card for the HTET exam is supposed to be released in January 2022 by BSEH on their official website. Yet, note that BSEH does not send the HTET admit card via posts. Hence, all the candidates are suggested to keep an eye on the official website for the latest notice. But we will also update you as soon as any new information comes up, so no need to worry.

  • You can download the e-admit cards typically at least 7 days before the exams by logging in to their account on the website with your login credentials, viz. Registration ID and Password.
  • Also, you need to carry an original photo ID proof along with the hard copy of your hall ticket to the exam centre.
  • Important details like the applicant’s name, photo, signature, registration number, roll number, name of the post, allotted exam date, time, and venue will be written on the admit card.
  • You should go through the details carefully and contact the authority at the earliest in case of any discrepancy.
  • If you are not eligible for the fee waiver and you do not pay the application fee in time, your application will be considered incomplete. Therefore, no hall ticket will be issued in that case.

How to download the HTET Exam admit card?

These are the steps to download the admit card, once it is released:

  1. Open your browser and go to the official website of BSEH, which is
  2. On the Home page, there should be a link to the HTET 2021 Admit Card.
  3. Open the link and log in with your registration id and password.
  4. In your profile, you will see the admit card ready to be downloaded.
  5. Go through the details carefully. Inform the authority right away in case of any discrepancy. Download the hall ticket and take several printouts of it.


Documents to carry

In addition to the hall ticket, candidates have to carry the following documents to the exam centre:-

  • Recent passport size colour photographs X 2 (at least)
  • Original copy of valid Photo ID proof. Make sure it shows the same Date of Birth as printed on the admit card. The Photo ID proof can be any of the following:
    • PAN Card
    • Aadhaar Card
    • Voter Card
    • School/ College ID Card
    • Driving License
    • Passport
    • Employer ID Card (Government/ PSU/ Private)
    • Ex-servicemen Discharge Book authorized by the Ministry of Defence
    • Any other photo ID issued by the State/ Central Govt.
  • If the Date of Birth on the photo ID is not the same as written on the admit card, the candidate must carry another original document that will serve as proof of their date of birth. However, if the DOB written here also does not match with that of the hall ticket’s, the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled and he/she will not be allowed to appear in the SSC JHT exam. These additional documents can be any of the following:
    • Birth Certificate
    • Matriculation Certificate
    • Mark sheet issued by ICSE/ CBSE/ State Boards
    • Category Certificate
  • Medical Certificate/ Undertaking/ Photocopy of the Scribe’s Photo Identity proof (applicable only for PwD candidates)
  • Caste Certificate (applicable for candidates belonging from any reserved category)


Important points for HTET exam admit cards

  • The first thing to do after getting access to the HTET admit card is to thoroughly check the candidate’s name and all other details. They should match with the online application form. In case of any inconsistency, inform the authority right away; otherwise, this will become a problem later on.
  • Carry multiple copies of coloured print-outs of the admit card at each stage.
  • Paste a passport size photo on the specified field. Make sure to sign wherever required on the admit card. To sign across the pasted photo, use a marker.
  • Ensure your signature is clear and recognizable as the one entered during the application.
  • Carry all the necessary documents and multiple extra copies of passport photos with the admit card to the examination centre.
  • Carry originals and photocopies of all the documents to submit.
  • Organize and pack the documents the night before the exam so that nothing is missed out in the hurry of going to take the exam.
  • Read all the instructions printed on the hall ticket minutely and adhere to them.
  • Maintain COVID protocols and carry protective gears exactly as prescribed in the admit card.
  • Reach the examination centre well within the reporting time. Explore the place one or two days earlier if necessary and possible.
  • You cannot change the examination centre after it is allotted.

HTET: Interview Call Letter

Candidates qualifying HTET exam will receive a certificate from BSEH, which is valid for the lifetime, unlike before when it was valid for only 7 years.

The written exam will be followed by an interview. Yet, note that during the final shortlisting of selected candidates, 80% weightage will be given on your performance in the written exam and 20% on the interview.

You can make an unlimited number of attempts to appear in HTET and receive your certificate, given that you do not cross the upper age limit. Also, if you have already qualified HTET you can take the exam again to improve your score.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

Q.1 What are the exam centres for HTET 2021?

A. The Board can decide any exam centre for you within or outside the state of Haryana. But usually, they try to assign the centre in the home town of the candidate.

Q.2 When can I download the admit card?

A. The admission certificates, or hall tickets, or admit cards will be available for download at least a week before the exam. You have to download it by logging in to your profile on the official website of BSEH.

Q.3 Are left-hand thumb impressions and handwritten declarations of the candidate needed during application?

A. As far as we know from the past years, the handwritten declaration is not required in the application form of the HTET exam. However, a scanned image of a thumb impression is one of the documents to be uploaded.
