The UPSSC Preliminary Entrance Test (PET) is a common qualifying exam for all Group C posts. The UPSSSC PET 2025 consists of 100 Multiple-Choice Questions. The test duration is 2 hours, and the test is for 100 marks. There is a negative marking, with 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer.
The UPSSSC PET Exam is mandatory for all Grade C posts. A descriptive test might be held as a 2nd stage evaluation. This depends on the post that the candidate wants to apply for. Document verification and a medical exam follow the PET for all posts.
