IBPS decides the syllabus and exam pattern. The IBPS includes three stages – Prelims, Mains, Interviews. Candidates who clear all the three stages get selection. While those who fail to clear any of these stages cannot secure selection in the IBPS. IBPS released the syllabus and exam pattern in the official notification. The syllabus of the prelims exam differs from the mains exam. The level of difficulty of questions also differs. IBPS conducts the exam in online mode. Candidates have to appear for the online written exam. The marks of the prelims exam are not included in the final result. Prelims exam is of qualifying nature.

Before starting the preparation for IBPS RRB Scale 2 Exam, candidates must go through the syllabus and pattern of the exam carefully. The syllabus of the prelims exam differs from the mains exam. Candidates who have good knowledge of the syllabus can score high in the exam. A detailed syllabus of the exam is available in the official notification released by the IBPS on 7th June 2021. The prelims exam is the primary selection. Candidates who clear the prelims exam can appear for the mains exam. The mains exam is of high importance. The marks secured in the mains exam are included in the final result. After the mains exam, an interview round is held to assess the overall personality of the candidates.

The primary stage to prepare for any exam is the right selection of books. There are numerous books available in the market. A book is the only source to dig depth knowledge about a particular subject. Before preparing for the IBPS RRB Scale 2 Exam candidates need to keep certain things in mind. Candidates must buy books that contain the whole syllabus. As there is a different syllabus for both prelims and mains exam. Candidates must buy books that consist of all the important topics. A. A total of three sections are there in the prelims exam – English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. A duration of 60 minutes (1 Hour) is given to finish the exam.
A. Yes, there will be a negative marking in the prelims exam. A penalty of 0.25 marks will be rewarded for giving wrong answers. Candidates need to be careful while answering the questions.
A. Yes, there will be a sectional cut-off in both prelims and mains exams. Candidates have to score high in sections to meet the sectional cut-off.
A. Candidates have to finish the Objective Questions in 3 Hours. A duration of 30 minutes will be given to complete the descriptive paper having two questions – Letter and Essay Writing.
A. The interview round carries 100 marks. The interview round will have 20% weightage in the final result.
