The UPSC CSE 2022 examination or the Civil Services Examination is a national-level exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The paper is held in an offline mode and candidates are allowed 6 or more attempts depending upon their reservation category to qualify for the exam. Candidates between the ages of 21-32 years who are citizens of India are eligible for appearing for the USC CSE 2022 Examination.

The UPSC CSE 2022 Prelims examination was held on 5th June 2022 and going by the trend of previous years, the result is expected to be released a month later. Candidates will be notified as and when the result is declared. Each year, around 5 lakh candidates appear for the Civil Services Examination out of which only 800-1000 candidates are selected for several posts of civil servants.

  2. ‌The UPSC CSE result link will be highlighted on the page. 
  3. ‌Click on it. A .pdf file of the result will appear on the screen containing all the roll numbers and names of candidates.
  4. ‌Find your name in the list by using Ctrl+F for either your roll number or name. 
  5. ‌Download the file for future use.

  3. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth.

Q1. Is the 2022 UPSC Result Declared?

Ans. The UPSC CSE Prelims examination was conducted on 5th June 2022. The results for the same are expected to be released shortly after. Candidates who qualify in the prelims will move on to give the Mains examination which is scheduled to be held on 16th September 2022.

Ans. Anudeep Durishetty has scored the highest marks in the UPSC examination to date. He is currently an IRS officer. In 2020, Dr. Alpala Mishra was the topper in UPSC after scoring 215 out of 275 marks in the Interview Round. These marvels made their name by being consistent and confident in their approach.

Ans. UPSC declares the result of the CSE exam after one month of the exam date. The preliminary exam date was on 5th June 2022, The Mains exam date will be on 16th September 2022. The personal interview of the selected candidate will be in the month of January 2023. CSE prelims exam results will be tentatively declared in the month of August 2022 and CSE mains exam results will be declared in the month of November/December 2022.

Ans. No, the UPSC CSE Mains is set to be conducted on 16th September 2022. The result will be declared a month after the examination. Candidates will be able to access the result online on the official website of UPSC i.e. Candidates can log in with their Registration Number and Roll Number and get their mark sheet. Candidates who qualify at this stage will then have to appear for the interview round.

Ans. Cracking the UPSC CSE examination in the first attempt is a feat in itself. It takes a sheer amount of effort and resilience to successfully crack this exam. But certainly every year some people have managed to crack the exam in the first attempt itself.
