SSC is solely responsible for all aspects of the examination process, including the administration of the test, candidate assessment, question paper development, result publication, and successful candidate posting. On 06th November 2022, a test will be given for the positions of multi-tasking (non-technical) staff and havaldar (CBIC & CBN). Dates for the SSC MTS 2022 examination have changed in some areas. The SSC MTS 2022 tests the candidates in two papers – Paper I (MCQ-based) and Paper II (descriptive). On 06th November 2022, multiple shifts will be held for the Tier 2 Exam for Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, according to SSC. At the designated centre for the exam, the candidate should bring all required documentation. A candidate must pass the Matriculation or its equivalent exam from the well-known State Board or University or Institute. A candidate is not eligible to apply if they do not pass the qualifying exam before the deadline for receiving application forms.

The following stages make up the SSC MTS 2022 selection procedure.
Stage 1: Paper 1 (Objective)
Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (only for the post of Havaldar)
Stage 3: Paper 2 (Descriptive)
