JKSSB Important Dates

The JKSSB has recently authorized and released two back-to-back advertisements in June and July of 2021. In advertisement no. 03/2021, the government published 503 positions for various posts under several departments, whereas advertisement no. 04/2021 advertised 329 positions within the Animal/Sheep Husbandry  Department. The candidates must know the JKSSB important dates to start their preparation in a planned manner.

For both advertisements, the procedure of filling out the application form has already begun. Candidates must fill out the application form as soon as possible after seeing the announcements. Applicants must take prompt action to avoid any technical glitches as well as server troubles. This can be due to a high influx of applications in the last few days of application submission.

Candidates are advised to maintain vigilance because the JKSSB is unlikely to send emails or messages regarding the changes in significant dates or other notices regarding the stated examination.

The recruitment board has not announced exam dates. The written exam is expected to take place soon after the last date of application.  Additional processes are likely to follow the written exam.

JKSSB has recently released 2 notifications in the past 2 months. Combining these, the advertisements have released 832 posts in all. These are from different departments. Briefly, details for these are provided below:

JKSSB Recruitment Under Advt No.(03 OF 2021):

• The JKSSB has issued a notification to recruit applicants for several departments such as Forest, Ecology and Environment, General Administration, Health & Medical Education, Law Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs. Candidates may apply between the 20th of June and the 20th of July 2021 (LATER EXTENDED TO 3RD AUGUST 2021).  A total of 503 job openings have been made available for filling.

JKSSB Recruitment Under Advt No.(04 OF 2021):

• The JKSSB has issued a notification to recruit applicants for the position of Animal/Sheep Husbandry. Candidates may apply between August 4th and September 6th, 2021. A total of 329 job openings have been made available for filling.

Although the JKSSB important dates for the exam are not out yet, the detailed notification is available on JKSSB official website. The detailed notification contains critical information about the exam, exam eligibility, reservation policies. • First and foremost, it includes the pay scale of all the positions for which the exam is being held. The pay scale varies from post to post. Also, it depends upon the department under which the post lies.

The vacancies received by the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department are 280. Whereas 200 posts are from General Administration Department. • However, there is a total of 329 posts under the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries in Advt. no 04/ 2021.

• Fee details of applicants. Moreover, the examination fee for JKSSB is Rs.350 only for all candidates.

• Age should be minimum of 18 years. The maximum age limit varies depending upon the category under which the candidate has applied.
• Educational Qualification: It varies from post to post. Also, it is different for different departments.
