The Union Public Service Commission has released the IPS exam dates for the Indian Police Service Exam 2022. Also, one can check out the Indian Police Service important dates on the official website. The UPSC issued its IPS examination notification on 2nd February 2022, and the online application form will be available for applicants until 22nd February 2022, on the online website.

The Board has released the exam dates for all the examinations that fall under the UPSC jurisdiction. The official website includes the exam dates for the Civil Services exam for various posts. For instance, the posts include Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign service, etc.

IPS Exam Dates & Notification

The UPSC prelims examination will begin on 5th June 2022, and the UPSC Mains examination will begin on 16th September 2022. Also, the candidates who have applied for the exam can check the dates for the declaration of results on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission.

IPS Exam Notification

The UPSC had released the notification for the Indian Police Service Examination on the 2nd February 2022. However, due to the current situation of the COVID pandemic in the country, the dates of the exam will be remains same and the exam will be held according to the given schedule.

The official PDF of the notification is available on the official website of the UPSC. The examinations will be starting from this year’s June and continuing until the month of September 2022. The online application for the examination started on the 2nd February 2022. And the application stopped on the 22nd of the same month. Indian Police Service Exam Date

The IPS exam dates are crucial to be known by every aspiring candidate. Because it helps the candidates to prepare themselves for the upcoming examinations. The UPSC released the official dates for the Indian Police Service exam 2022in February 2022.

The official date for the Prelims examination of the IPS examinations will happen on the 5th of June, 2022. Meanwhile, the Mains examination for the positions in the Indian Police Service will commence from the 16th of September on wards. Also, it will take place over the course of five days. The commission has considered that if there is again a surge of COVID 19 then the UPSC will again postpone the exams. However, tentatively the exams will commence on the selected dates.

The preliminary examination is only a screening test, and candidates who are declared qualified for the exam by the Commission will be eligible for admission to the Main Examination. Candidates must take the Main Examination in the same year. The Prelims exam will consist of two papers worth a total of 400 points.
