Which posts are included in SSC CHSL?

The aspirant should be 18 – 27 years old as of 01st January 2025. However, certain reserved category candidates can claim for reservation, according to the Indian government norms. The aspirants must not be born before 2nd January 1995 or later than 1st January 2004.

Educational Qualification

For DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Culture, and SSC, candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or an equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.

For LDC, JSA, and other DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ roles (excluding those in specific departments/ministries), candidates must have passed 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized board or equivalent.

Nationality / Citizenship

A candidate must meet one of the following nationality criteria:

(a) Be a citizen of India, or
(b) Be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
(c) Be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in the country, or
(d) Be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or from East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanent settlement in India.
