SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission. It is a group under the Government of India.

The SSC organizes exams for Junior Engineers (JE) every year. Moreover, this exam is for hiring staff in various posts of engineering. These posts include Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering too. They also hire Quantity surveying Engineers. This exam gets conducted for Group B posts in level 6 according to the 7th Central Pay Commission. The people in Group – B posts are non-gazetted. Also, the salary for Level 6 officers is Rs. 35400 – Rs. 112400

SSC JE Exam notification of 2020-21 got already published on the official website by SSC officials. It got released on 1st October 2020. Earlier, the committee said that they would declare the notification on 4th August 2020. But it got delayed. At the same time, the application form got released.

As stated there, the last date for the application form was 30th October 2020. The recent news regarding this exam is that the answer key for the Paper 1 Exam got released on 7th July 2021 – 8th July 2021. The result for the Paper 2 Exam will get published on 30th November 2021.

The SSC JE Exam Paper – 1 already occurred from 22nd March – 25th March 2021. Firstly, SSC released the calendar for all its exams on the official website. According to that calendar, the aspirants can find the dates for all the other exams of SSC. Recently, SSC declared the Exam Paper – 2 dates through an official notice on 6th August 2021. According to this notice, the exam for Paper – 2 will be from 26th September 2021 onwards. The aspirants who qualify for the Paper – 1 Exam will get the admit card for Paper – 2. They will get the admit cards from 16th September 2021. After that, the answer key gets released after few weeks from the exam.

There are two modes of transaction available for paying the SSC JE application forms.
They are online mode as well as offline mode. Students can pay the online fees through BHIM UPI, Net Banking. They can also pay by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Ru Pay Credit, or Debit card. At the same time, students can pay fees through offline mode. For this, they have to submit an SBI challan at any SBI Bank branch.
After the candidate fills up the application form, they can pay the application fees category-wise.

The vacancies for SSC JE Exams 2020 – 21 got already declared. They got declared by SSC on their official site on 19th October 2020. Although, these vacancies are unsettled. They can get changed at any time by SSC. But, a total of 1650 vacancies got announced as a tentative vacancy detail.

The exam pattern for SSC JE Paper 1 is entirely different from Paper 2.

The SSC already published the admit cards for the Paper 1 exam. It was on 12th March 2021. But, the admit card for Paper 2 is yet to get released on 16th September 2021.
This organization releases admit cards on its official site. So, the students should check and stay updated regarding the notifications on the site. The admit card can only get downloaded through an online mode. It will not get sent to the aspirants at their postal address. Besides, there is no other way to have the admit card rather than getting it downloaded.
Essential documents should be there with the aspirants when they log into the official site for downloading the admit card. These documents include registration number and date of birth. Also, the applicant should download and save the admit card for future use.
The admit card is an important document. Hence, the aspirant must carry them to the examination center. Otherwise, they would not get allowed to sit for the examination.
SSC JE Paper 1 result got released already by SSC on their official site (ssc.nic.in). It got released on 30th June 2021. As a result, the aspirants can get an idea about the cut-off marks based on these results. A recent announcement by SSC regarding the Paper 2 Examination was there. It got released through an official notice by SSC on 6th August 2021.
First of all, the Paper 2 exam would be from 26th September 2021. Secondly, the result of this exam would get published by 30th November 2021. Also, the admit card would start to appear on the site from 16th September 2021. But, whoever passes the Paper 1 exam is eligible to give the Paper 2 exam. The SSC JE result always gets released within 3-4 weeks after the examination in PDF format. The answer key gets released few weeks after the result comes out.
Before filling up the application form, the aspirants must go through the guidelines for eligibility criteria. Eligibility criteria are necessary for SSC JE Examination. The candidate must fulfill all the eligibility requirements. Otherwise, they would not get qualified even if they fill up the application form.
