How to apply for NIACL Assistant Recruitment?

Only online applications will be accepted for the NIACL Assistants recruitment process. In addition, the Candidates must submit their application form and complete the payment within the given time.

The process for NIACL Assistant online registration is divided into three steps.

Registration and Application:

  1. Visit the official website of NIACL.
  2. Following that, click on the registration link to get the application form.
  3. You need to register by filling up the required details such as Name, Email ID, Contact number, etc.
  4. Subsequently, an official message is sent to your email/ Message box regarding the successful registration.
  5. You need to log in by using that registration number and password.
  6. Similarly, the next step is to fill up the required details, which include educational qualifications and general details about the candidate.
  7. You can also make multiple attempts to fill up the form.
  8. To save the previously filled-up details, click on the button “Save and Next.” Moreover, you can re-login with the same registration number and password.
  9. Likewise, save every detail that you are providing. Ensure that before moving on to the next segment of the application form.
  10. Finally, check the details thoroughly because there is no chance for correction in the application form after the final submission.
  11. After checking the details and modifying the data (if necessary), you need to click on the “final submit” tab.

Payment for the NIACL Recruitment:

  1. Firstly, check your web connection to ensure that the transaction process is smooth.
  2. You can make payments only through some selected online payment methods. Offline payment is not accepted. Also, you must ensure that the transaction is completed, as the pending transaction will disrupt the process.
  3. You can only use selected debit cards to make payments (Rupay, Visa, Master, and Maestro). In addition, other online payment methods include Credit/Debit cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Mobile Wallets.
  4.  Make sure to click on the payment button after the final submission of the application form.
  5. Besides, the payment should be completed for a successful registration.
  6. After completing the payment, you will receive an e-receipt for the transaction. Finally, you will also receive a confirmation notification via SMS on the registered mobile number/mail ID.

Uploading the scanned copy of the required documents

1. Photo:

A recent passport-size colour photo of measurements- 4.5cm x 3.5cm. The preferred dimension of the image is 230×200 pixels. Also, the image file size should be between 20-50 KB. In addition, the candidates should not be wearing any accessories in the photograph. Subsequently, they should not change their appearance after uploading the photo.

2. Signature:

The Candidates should sign on white paper with black ink and scan it. Also, Candidates must avoid using block letters in signatures. Furthermore, the scanned file size must be between 10-20 KB. Along with that, the dimension preferred is between 140×60 pixels.

3. The fingerprint of the Left thumb:

The candidates must use blue or black ink to make their left thumb impression on white paper. Especially the size of the scanned file of the left thumb impression should be between 10-20 KB, and the dimension is 140*60 pixels.

4. Handwritten declaration (text given below)

“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

Candidates must write the text which is mentioned above. This is done on white paper with black ink. The declaration must be written only in the English language. Also, the handwritten declaration must not be in capital letters except for the required cases.

Importantly, all these documents should be scanned and uploaded. There will be separate links for uploading separate documents. To sum up, check the documents before uploading them.

NIACL Assistant Application Fees

The timeline for completing the application is generally around two weeks, post which there is no late fee window. Below are the fee details based on previous data.

  • The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • The transaction charge, if applicable, is to be borne by the candidate.

NIACL Assistant Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must fulfill educational and general criteria to register for the NIACL Assistant recruitment process.

Nationality:

The most basic criterion to be eligible for this exam is to be a citizen of India. It is an exam in the public sector and requires only citizens in its organization. However, there are more qualifications to this criteria:

To sit for the NIACL Assistant exam, the candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India
  • A subject of Nepal
  • A subject of Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugees who entered and settled in India before 1962
  • Persons of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.

The intention of permanency in their migration must be reflected with an eligibility certification from the Government upon migration for subjects from Nepal, Bhutan and other persons of Indian origin as mentioned above.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have graduated from a recognized university or educational institution.
  • Candidates must have had English in SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate / Graduation as a subject.
  • Candidate must be proficient in the state language of the state where he/ she has applied.   

Things to keep in mind while applying for NIACL Assistant:

  • Candidates must be able to provide the relevant mark sheet(s) at the time of employment.
  • Educational Qualifications should be from a University/ Institution/ Board that has been recognized by the Government of India and the relevant Government Regulatory Bodies.
  • Conversion to Percentage:

For Letter Grades and Class Distinctions: The aggregate of all the marks in all the semesters/ years, irrespective of the honours/ optional/ additional optional subject, need to be calculated with the total marks of all these subjects together. This only applies to Universities that provide a letter grade or class distinction based on Honors marks. That means 59.98% will be treated as less than 60% for NIACL Assistant.  

For CGPA/OGPA: The University will have its criteria for conversion to percentage. If not, you have to contact your university for the same.

Age Limit

The minimum age set by the NIACL to appear for Assistant Officer on the exam is 21 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. However, a few relaxations have also been granted to candidates under reserved categories concerning the Upper Age Limit:

NIACL Assistant Salary

In metro cities, the general pay for NIACL Assistant is Rs 23,500/- per month. There are some additional allowances and benefits that all NIACL Assistants are compensated with per month. There are also different stages in the career of a NIACL Assistant that will ensure an increase in the monthly basic pay. NIACL Assistant Admit Card

NIACL Assistant admit card will be available on the official website two weeks after the examination. The students who have successfully applied will get the admit card. It should be noted that the NIACL authority will not send the admit card via post or email. You need to take a print of the admit card. A hard copy of the admit card is required at the examination centre and a soft copy will not be accepted at the test centre.
