About Kendriya Vidyalaya School

KVS Recruitment Exam Notification

In general, the exam date for the PGTs, PRTs, Principal/Vice Principal, TGTs, and Librarians might vary. Also, the written exam is conducted for a standard duration of two-and-a-half hours.

 

KVS Recruitment Exam Application Fee

The application fee varies according to the category you apply to. Consequently, the fee structure is as follows –

  • Rs 1500 for Vice Principal and Principal
  •  1000 for TGTs
  • Again 1000 for PGTs
  • Rs 1000 for PRT Music, Librarian, and also the PRTs

Last but not the least, the fee can be paid through online modes like Debit/Credit card, net banking, and e-challan.

Obviously, the fee structure is for OBC and Unreserved category candidates. Therefore, the ST/SC and physically handicapped candidates are excluded from paying the application fee.

Educational Qualification

PGT (Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology, History, Geography, Commerce, and Economics)
  • Firstly, a relevant post-graduation degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% score.
  • Then, a B.Ed or a similar degree from a recognized institute.
  • Also, the Candidates must be proficient in both Hindi and English.
PGT (Computer Science)
  • Of course, a B.Sc/M.Sc Computer Science, BCA/MCA, B.E (IT/Computer Science), B.Tech, from any recognized University with a 50% aggregate score. If not, B-Level from DOEACC with higher graduation in any field or C- Level from DOEACC (Ministry of Information and Communication Technology) with graduation.

TGT (Art)
