BTET 2022 – Application Fee

The Application Fee can be paid through online or offline channels. Candidates can pay through the online mode by means of debit or credit card while for paying through offline mode, they can download the SBI e-challan receipt. Then, pay the fees at the designated SBI branch and take the printout of the e-slip on an A-4 size sheet. This bank copy has to be submitted to the bank. Candidates are advised to keep another copy in their possession for future reference. Below is the fees structure for the BTET exam:

BTET Eligibility Criteria

It is vital for the candidate to satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the authorities before appearing for BTET 2022. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Nationality

  1. The candidate should be a citizen of India.
  2. The candidate should be domiciled in the state of Bihar.

Educational Qualifications

Paper 1 (1st -5th standard)

  • Candidate must have passed Class X examination or its equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate.
  • Candidate must have completed graduation in B.SC/ BA/ B. Ed. Degree with 50% marks.
  • Candidates in the fourth/final year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.Ed.), a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or a 2-year Diploma in Special Education are also eligible to apply for BTET 2022.

Paper 2 (6th – 8th Standard)

  • Candidates having a degree or in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) are eligible for appearing for BTET 2022.
  • Candidates who have finished their graduation with 50% marks minimum and have passed or are appearing for a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) are eligible for appearing for BTET 2022.
  • Candidates who have finished their graduation with 50% marks minimum have passed or are appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.) are eligible for appearing for BTET 2022.
  • Candidates who have finished their graduation with 45%marks minimum and have passed or are appearing in their 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) are also eligible for appearing for BTET 2022.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age limit – 21 years as of 1st January 2022.
  • Maximum age limit  – 35 years as of 1st January 2022.
  • Relaxation of Age – Age relaxation of 5% will be provided to Female/SC/ST/OBC candidates. For a reserved category female candidate, only one rule of the reservation will apply.

BTET Admit Card

The Bihar School Examination Board will release the Admit Cards on its official website. Generally, it is released one week before the exam and can be downloaded from the website itself after logging in with your Registration Number and Roll Number, which are generated while submitting the application form. Errors in the Admit Card, if any, need to be brought forward instantly. Candidates are advised to contact the board regarding this matter.

Candidates are required to obtain both a colored hardcopy (through print) and a softcopy of the Admit Card, as they’ll be required to show it to the examiner at the test center. How to Download BTET 2022 Admit Card?

Candidates can download the Admit Card from the official website after logging in to the student portal with their Registration Number and Roll Number. Below are the steps to download the BTET 2022 Admit Cards:

Some things to keep in mind before appearing for the BTET 2022 examination:

  1. Candidates are requested to not use a whitener on the OMR sheet during the BTET Exam when they mark the wrong answer. This may disrupt the system during checking and lead to the cancellation of the paper.
  2. Any sort of electronic gadgets or mobile phones is not allowed during the BTET 2022 exam.
  3. Candidates should not carry things other than paper, ruler, notes, watch, handbag, and calculator to the test center.
  4. If the candidate is caught cheating during the BTET 2022 exam, it will cost them their candidature and they will be debarred from giving the paper.

BTET Result

BTET 2022 Exam results will be announced by the Bihar School Education Board after the completion of Paper 1 and 2. The result of both papers will be released at the same time. Similar to every other document, the result will be declared on the official website of BTET. Successful candidates will then be called for the interview stage. How to Check the BTET 2022 Exam Result?

Generally, the result is released a few days after concluding the exam. It’s very easy to access the scorecard. Below are the steps you can follow to check your result:

BTET Interview Call Letter

After concluding with the BTET 2022 exam, successful candidates will be called for a Personal Interview. To qualify as teachers, candidates should also pass the personal interview stage, and only then they will get the job. After the interview stage, the board will decide the final result and declare a list of selected candidates. All those candidates will be appointed for the post of a government teacher and will be provided with a BTET 2022 joining letter. The joining letter is usually sent through the post and will be sent by the exam board after higher officials of the TET board give their approval.

Depending upon the details of the joining letter, candidates can join the respective schools. This means that the candidate should be ready to move to a different state or city for their job. The merit list is declared a few days after the termination of the exam and is prepared based on the score obtained by the candidate. In order to qualify for the interview stage, candidates have to get the minimum cut-off marks. The Bihar School Examination Board will release the cut-off marks of the BTET 2022 exam.
