About Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET)

Paper Pattern

The exam of TNTET is conducted by TRB every year. Through the exam of TNTET teachers are appointed in Tamil Nadu at primary and elementary levels.

General Instructions ·   There is a total of 150 questions in total for both the exams.

·   The time duration of the exam is three hours.

·   The exam will be offline based. The aspirants will be allotted the OMR sheets on which they have to input the answers.

·   Each question carries one mark.

·   There is no negative marking for the exam.

Paper-1 It contains 150 questions in total. Each question contains 1 mark. This makes the exam total 150 marks with 150 questions. There are certain subjects that are important for the applicants to study. There is no negative marking for the exam.

Exam Dates

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the dates and the exams are postponed. This gives the aspirants time to prepare for the exam more efficiently. The conducting authority Teachers Recruitment Board will release the dates soon for the exam of recruiting teachers in the state of Tamil Nadu. Though the exam has been postponed. But the dates are out now. An aspirant can register themselves for the exam till April 2021. After that, the first paper would be held in August 2021. Application Fee

TNTET Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

For appearing in the exam of Tami Nadu Teachers eligibility Exam, the age of the applicant must not be less than 8 years. The upper limit or the maximum age to appear for the exam in years.
