RAS exam stands for Rajasthan Administrative Services, and it is state level civil service exam governed by the RPSC that is Rajasthan Public Service Commission. The primary purpose behind this entrance exam is to recruit suitable candidates for the state and subordinate services or group A and group B posts of Rajasthan. Rajasthan Administrative Service is one of the highest state-level services where many candidates apply for the RAS Exam. Recently RPSC released the official notification of the RAS 2021 exam. The mode of the RAS 2022 exam can be online or offline depending on the situation for only the preliminary exam and mains it will be an offline exam. The preliminary exam will be consist of only one paper with a total of 150 objective questions for 200 marks.
Moreover, RAS mains will consist of four theory papers for 200 marks each and the duration for this exam will be three hours, and the paper will be available in two languages, Hindi and English. The official notification for the 2022 examination is yet not out. It will be reflected here as soon as the official notification is out.
However, Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) had officially released the notification for the RAS 2021 exam. The online exam application has already started from August 4, 2021, and the deadline for the application is September 2, 2021. Previously, the online form filling was there on July 28, but RPSC confirmed this process to happen in August due to technical issues. For the first time, there will be a reservation for the EWS candidates in the RAS exam, and also they will get an age relaxation and fee concession. Candidate interested in the RAS 2021 exam needs to register themselves first on the official website of RPSC and then only they can apply for the online application process.
The preliminary exam will be consisting of 200 objective questions. Those who qualify will get a chance to appear for the mains exam. Interested candidates can go through the official notification of the Rajasthan Administrative Services exam. Rajasthan Public Service Commission is filling up 988 vacancies through the RAS exam for 21 services under Rajasthan State Services and Rajasthan Subordinate Services. Out of 988 vacancies, 363 are there for the state services, and the remaining 625 are there for the subordinate services. Rajasthan Administrative Service is a highly competitive exam held under Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). The first paper is preliminary, and another one is known as Mains paper. Syllabus for both the paper is different. As candidates already register themselves on the official portal of RPSC so they must be having their login credentials. Once a candidate visits the RPSC website, they need to enter their enrollment id and password to get the printout of the admitting card.
