About HPPSC and HPPSC Exam-

Different modes of recruitment in HPPSC –

HPPSC follows four different modes of recruitment. They are as follows –

Recruitment via written examination and viva-voce

This testing process involves two steps. Firstly, the applicants need to appear in a written exam. Acquire marks to cross the cut-off. Next, The selected applicants are called for the Viva-voice, an oral exam. It is to check the subjective ability of applicants. A final merit list is declared based on the exams’ performance. Recruitment via written examination only, without viva-voce

This method is fit for the applicants that belong to the department. Also, applicants in service (a minimum period in some areas of the province).

The eligible applicants are then screened via a written examination. The ones selected are appointed to different posts. They need to perform well in the written exam for the selection. Recruitment through screening test and interview

This selection method is used when there are more applicants for one post. The most eligible applicants are filtered. Fitting applicants are then called for the interview round. HPPSC Exam Date

Himachal Pradesh PSC has released the notification for HPAS 2021 on 19 May. The last date to apply for the exam is 22 June. However, The temporary date to conduct the preliminary test is set in October. The admit card will be available on the official website of HPPSC as per the guidelines.

HPPSC Eligibility Criteria

To serve the Himachal Pradesh Authoritative Administrations, applicants need to undergo a testing process. Moreover, The process is to conduct the exams. HPPSC Salary

  • According to the 6th pay commission, the average salary range based on the class of the employees is this-
  • For class I employees- Rs.15600-39100 + Rs.7400/- Grade Pay + Rs.800 S.A.
  • However, for Class II employees- Rs.10300-34800 + Rs.4200/- Grade Pay + Rs.300 S.A
  • But, For class III employees- Rs.10300-34800 + Rs.3800/- Grade Pay + Rs.240 S.A.
  • Class IV employees- Rs. 4900-10680 + Rs.1650/- Grade Pay + Rs.100 S.A.

The hike in salary occurs as per the state guidelines currently. Whereas, The pay scale is as per the rules of the 6th pay commission.

HPPSC Syllabus

HPPSC Exam Pattern

The exam for HPAS (Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services) comprises three parts. Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and the personal interview round.

The applicants need to apply for the HPPSC exams online. Follow the steps mentioned below for completion of the application-

Step 1 Registration-
