BPCL Exam Application Fee

The candidates applying for the BPCL recruitment exam will have to submit the following amounts as application fees. This should be according to their respective categories.

As per the Apprentice Act of 1973, there are no fees applicable for the exam.

The candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully. Before remitting the Application Fee and submitting the application it is to be done. No refunding of fee that is already paid. Applications of students, who do not transfer the net application fee, will not be considered.

 

BPCL Recruitment Exam Eligibility Criteria

BPCL has released a detailed notification related to eligibility criteria for Apprentice (Graduate and Technician) post. Quite a number of parameters are there that the candidates need to meet. In order to be selected for the respective post, they must fulfill the criteria listed below.

Educational Qualifications

  • Mandatory Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or something equivalent. Less than 60% marks in aggregate [50% for SC and ST] is not allowed.

 

  • A valid GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score of 2019/2020/2021 is needed. The GATE score must be valid as of the closing date of application. That is 25.07.2021 (25th of July, 2021)
For the stream Civil Engineering.
Stream such as  Instrumentation Engineering.

Discipline like EEC Engineering. EEC streams.
The streams of  Mechanical Engineering.

The minimum ‘Educational Qualification’ required for designations like the Assistant Director (AD), the Assistant Section Officer, and Junior Stenographer, etc. are as follows:

  • The Assistant Director (Administration/ Legal)
    • A degree in LAW.
    • Some relevant experience in the State/ Central/ Union Territory Government. Statutory/ Autonomous Body/ Public Sector Undertaking/ reputed Government agency is also accepted.
  • Financial Assistant Director
    • Applicant should be a Chartered/ Cost Accountant
    • Works Accountant or Subordinate Accounts Service Accountant is also accepted.
    • Candidates with a Master of Business Administration (with finance specialization) are welcomed. Studies from a well-known university are preferred.
    • A basic of three years experience working in any Central/ State/ Union Territory Government or Statutory/ Autonomous Body or institution is needed.
  • Marketing & Consumer Affairs Assistant Director
    • Candidates should have finished their MBA.
    • Else, a Master‘s Degree or PG in journalism is needed.
    • If not then, a Master‘s Degree or PG Diploma in Social Work. This from an esteemed University is preferred.
  • Assistant Section Officer
    • The candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized University.
    • An applicant should well pass Computer Proficiency Test.
  • Process Technician
    • A Diploma in Chemical Engineering (60%).
    • This should be a full-time course.
    • It should be from a Government Polytechnic or equivalent Government
    • The course must be approved by AICTE.
  • Personal Assistant (PA)
    • A candidate should have completed graduation from a revered University.
    • An applicant should clear the Computer Proficiency Test.
    • The applicant must have cleared rounds up to the 6th level of the NSQF (National Skill Qualification Framework).
    • One should know Shorthand in English or Hindi. Dictation test at 100 words/min for 7 minutes, should be cleared.
  • Utility Operator
    • A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (60%).
    • This should be a full-time course.
    • It should be from a Government Polytechnic or equivalent Government
    • The course must be approved by AICTE.
  • Senior Secretariat Assistant
    • Candidates should have completed Bachelor‘s Degree.
    • They are needed to pass the Skill Test in Computer Proficiency.
  • Junior Secretariat Assistant
    • Candidates should have completed their Graduation.
    • Candidates would be judged based on the Computer Proficiency Test.
    • Typing Speed Test will also be conducted. Candidates need to pass that as well.
