The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the UGC NET exam. UGC NET, or University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, is a national-level exam. It is conducted twice every year, in June and December.
The UGC NET subject list is released every year along with the syllabus by the NTA. You have to go through the UGC NET Subject list carefully before applying for the exam.
Earlier, the UGC NET 2022 subject list had only 82 subjects. “Hindu Studies” has been added to this year, making it 83 subjects. The UGC NET subject list 2021 also had only 82 subjects.
