AFCAT is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. The exams are done to select officers and commanders for the Indian Air Force. Selection into the Indian Air Force is completely based on AFCAT merit marks followed by a series of physical tests and interviews. Indian Air Force conducts AFCAT exams twice yearly, in February and August. Clearing the AFCAT exam is the first step in entering the Indian Air Force is clearing the AFCAT exam. Exam Pattern for AFCAT

The full form of AFCAT is the Air Force Common Admission Test. Indian Air Force conducts AFCAT to select commissioned officers for duty. The notification for the AFCAT exams comes in June and December. Similarly, exams are conducted in February and August. Hence, candidates can choose their exam month based on their convenience. Eligibility for Attending the AFCAT Exams

  1. All candidates must be Indian Citizens.
  2. The candidates must be of the prescribed AFCAT age limit. That is 20 to 26 years of age for flying and ground duty.
  3. Based on the role, some post’s education qualifications should be engineering. Likewise, graduates can apply for some posts.
