SSC MTS Exam: Multitasking Staff Post

SSC MTS Exam is an entrance examination in the field of Civil Services for the recruitment of clerks and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in various Ministries/Departments of the Government of India. SSC MTS (NT) exams are for recruiting Multitasking (Non-Technical) Staff in different States & Union Territories. There are two phases for these exams, Paper I objective type, and Paper II is a descriptive type exam.

The SSC MTS Exam for the Multitasking Staff post is scheduled to be held from September 30 to November 14, 2024

SSC CHSL Exam (Combined Higher Secondary Level)

SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) exam is conducted to select candidates with higher secondary education qualifications for posts in various government departments and offices. The recruitment process has three phases – Tier I, Tier II and Tier III exams.

Tier I is a computer-based exam, Tier II is a descriptive type exam, and Tier III is typing skill test. There is a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect answer.

SSC Stenographer

SSC Stenographer exam is conducted to select grade "C" and "D" stenographers with good knowledge in Hindi and English language for government offices. Candidates aspiring to apply for the post of stenographer should have qualified and passed 12th grade. There will be computer based objective multiple choice answers type of exam and a skill test in stenography.

SSC has announced the Skill Test Exam dates for SSC Stenographer 2025 for Grade 'C' & 'D', scheduled for April 16th and 17th, 2025. A total of 1,926 vacancies have been released, including 239 for Grade C and 1,687 for Grade D across multiple government ministries, departments, and offices

SSC JHT Exam (Junior Hindi Translator)

SSC JHT exam is to select junior grade and senior grade Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak (Professor) in government offices, ministries and agencies. The recruitment process has two phases – Paper I is a computer-based objective type exam and Paper II is a conventional or descriptive type exam.

SSC JHT 2025 registration took place between 26th August 2025 and 18th September 2025. Tier 1 is scheduled for October 2025, followed by Tier 2 in November 2025

SSC CPO Exam (Central Police Organization)

SSC CPO exam is to recruit police officers such as officers in central armed police force, central industrial security force, sub inspector, assistant sub inspector for Delhi Police. SSC CPO recruitment process has two papers – Paper I and Paper II both will be computer based of 2 hours each.

SSC GD Exam (General Duty)

SSC GD Constable Exam is conducted to recruit GD constable appointed as a guard or escort. Their duties include supervise all the tasks and duties in the absence of sub-inspector and assistant sub-inspector may work on the cases of investigation under the supervision and instructions of SHO.

SSC GD exam has a Computer-based exam (CBE), physical efficiency and physical standard test (PET & PSTE) and detailed medical examination (DME) as four stages of the selection process.
