Classrooms
University offers very well-designed classrooms to its students. Also, they are quite modern in design with proper furniture like teacher’s podium and all. Therefore, these classrooms have enough ventilation and a good amount of natural light is present. Moreover, these classrooms accommodate around 50 students in each class. Therefore, all classrooms at the university use modern equipment like a multimedia projectors and LCD monitors for conducting classroom teaching, seminar, discussion, meetings, etc.
Central Library
The university has one of the richest libraries of its kind in the state of Delhi. Therefore, it has nearly 2,00,000 volumes of books and subscribes to 10,000 research journals and 5,000 thesis journals in various areas of teacher education and related fields. Moreover, A substantial number of books and journals are added regularly to the library. However, the library room is attached to a reading room with a seating capacity of nearly 200 students.
Sports Complex and Gym
The university offers both indoor and outdoor sports and a gym for both girls and boys. There is a modern gym with updated equipment for both boys and girls. Moreover, there is an indoor stadium for indoor sports like carrom, table tennis, chess and many more. Also, the courts are present for sports like badminton, tennis, volleyball, and basketball. The campus also has a dedicated space for spectator sports like Cricket and Football.
ATM
Therefore, there is the facility ATM. within the campus of the university. So, that students and faculty don’t face issues regarding their finances. Moreover, the bank ATM inside the campus is of the State Bank of India (SBI).
Swimming Pool
The university offers the facility of a swimming pool inside the campus. Therefore, it is free to use and is open during the summer season.
Canteen
The canteen is known as a fun hub for college students. They consider it as their adda to meet their friends, enjoy and de-stress themselves from their busy schedule. The canteen at the University offers multi-cuisine food items which are healthy along with affordable prices for its students.
Guest House
Because many international and domestic guests arrive in the university for seminars and workshops and many international and domestic well-known faculties come for guest lectures. Therefore, the college has the facility of guest houses available for the guests.
Staff Quarters
There are staff quarters available in this university. Therefore, almost all teaching and nonteaching staff live on the campus to save their time and money. Moreover, there is a big quarter for the Vice-Chancellor of the university. And all members of Non-teaching staff can avail the facility of the Staff Quarters. These Staff Quarters are inside the campus of the Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University.
Medical Centre
As there is an inextricable linkage between health and academic performance, so there is the facility of a medical center on campus. Also, this facility shows that educational institutions today cannot harp on academic instruction alone they need health facilities too. Therefore, the medical center of the University is a full-fledged unit with provision for one full-time Medical Officer, and two part-time doctors (based on a prior commitment for availing their local hospitals & services on emergency) who are assisted by supporting staff. Moreover, the medical center has a fair amount of facilities like an electronic BP apparatus with a pulse reader, a silicone stand, frequently required medicines, dressing materials, and patient bed.
