About AUAT

Aliah University conducts Aliah University Admission Test. This exam aims to admit candidates various for UG AND PG courses. The AUAT 2021 exam is a comprehensive admission test for all classes, and the test pattern comprises 100 objective and subjective type questions. Each question consists of one mark. Moreover, there is no negative marking in AUAT 2021.

Aliah University Admission Test applies to many UG courses. Some of them include- B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, BA (Hons); B.Sc. AUAT eligibility criteria

Candidates must check eligibility criteria before they apply. Aliah University will not consider any ineligible candidate for admission. Moreover, the authority has the right to cancel the candidature if found ineligible at any time of the admission process.

AUAT application process 2021

Step 1: Registration on the AUAT website

  • Visit the AUAT official website
  • Then, click on the “Apply Now” button.
  • Fill in the appropriate information, that is, email id and contact number, and confirm it.
  • You will receive OTP on your registered Email ID.
  • Then, using heat OTP, you can set a password for your AUAT account.
  • After that, log in to the AUAT portal with your username and password.


Step 2: Filling out the application form.

  • After login, you will be able to fill the application form.
  • Click on the “Apply Programme” option and select the program as per your preference.
  • Check eligibility criteria before adding any program.
  • After confirming the eligibility criteria, start filling out the form.
  • Fill in Personal Information such as name, parents’ name, etc.
  • After that, in the address details, fill out your residential and correspondence address.
  • Then, upload a scanned copy of your photo and signature.
  • Then, add your qualification details and attach supporting documents.
  • Finally, submit the form. However, before submission preview, the format and make sure every detail is correct.


Step 3: Application fee payment

AUAT Application fee payment is the final step in the registration process. The application form will be submitted successfully only after the fee payment. Thus, candidates must pay the amount within the deadline. Aliah university charge different fee for girls and boys. The fee for girls is Rs. 300, and for boys, it is Rs. 500. After the fee submission, make sure to print out or save the fee receipt for future reference.

  • The candidate must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.
  • The application process for the AUAT is entirely online. Therefore, no offline submission of the application form is necessary.
  • Candidates should have a valid personal email ID or Mobile No. Moreover, ensure that it is active during the entire recruitment process. This is imperative as Aliah University will send all the essential communications on the same registered email ID & mobile No.
  • The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Thus, make your decision before paying the price.
  • Candidates will have to mention their name, Parents’ name, DOB, Category, etc. Additionally, the address details have also been required:: house no., locality, city, district, State, Pin Code, Mobile No., Email ID, etc. Moreover, candidates need to fill in their qualification details in the AUAT application form.

AUAT 2021 syllabus

The AUAT syllabus is vast and comprehensive. The topics vary depending upon the courses that the candidate chose. But, questions from English and general awareness are common for all the candidates. Furthermore, these topics aim to check the language proficiency and knowledge of the candidate. Besides, for UG courses, all the topics are based on the 11th and 12th standard levels. And for PG courses, topics will be based on UG level. Thus, candidates can prepare efficiently for such topics. Below we have given a syllabus for common subjects that is English and GK. Aliah University includes many topics from English and grammar to assess a candidate’s language proficiency. This section includes topics such as synonym, antonym, sentence completion, correction, and transformation. Additionally, questions based on prepositions, spellings, word substitution are also there. Besides, questions related to active-passive voice, idioms, and phrases will also be asked in AUAT 2021.


AUAT Syllabus General Awareness

General awareness includes topics related to the Indian economy, politics, and geography. Candidates must also know about historical events and dates. Moreover, questions will be asked related to famous personalities. To crack this section, candidates must read the news regularly. AUAT 2021 Exam pattern

The AUAT exam pattern consists of 100 questions carrying one mark each. The mode of exam will be online with no negative marking. Hence, applicants must attempt every question. The AUAT 2021 duration is one and a half hours. Thus, candidates must complete their exams within this time frame. Moreover, applicants will not be given grace time in any condition.

AUAT exam admit card

Candidates can download the AUAT 2021 Admit Card from the official website of Aliah University. Aliah University will issue AUAT 2021 admit cards to candidates who have applied successfully. They can log in with their credentials to download the hall ticket.

Admit card is an essential document to sit for the AUAT 2021. Therefore, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the AUAT 2021 Admit Card. Thus, the candidates are requested to keep the AUAT 2021 Admit Card with them during the exam. In addition, the candidates must also carry one photo identity proof and fee receipt. Without any of these documents, they will not be permitted to write the exam.

AUAT exam center 2021

AUAT will be an offline-based exam. Hence, candidates need to go to their preferred exam center to give their exam. While filling out the application form, candidates will have the choice to select their preferred exam center. Aliah university will conduct AUAT in six different exam centers. These include – Kolkata, Burdwan, Behrampore, Malda, Siliguri, and Coochbehar. Moreover, candidates won’t be able to change it. Hence, it is crucial to select the exam center carefully.

However, AUAT 2021 for all PG Programmes, B.Sc. The nursing & B.Ed Programme will be conducted only in Aliah University, Kolkata Centre. Hence, candidates applying for these courses must keep that in mind.


AUAT result 2021

Aliah University releases the AUAT 2021 results on its official website. It will be declared within one month of examination. Candidates can check their ranks by logging in with their registered id and password. In addition, Aliah University prepares a separate merit list based on the examination marks of the candidates. This merit list is the basis on which students get admission to different courses.

How to download?

Candidates can check their results in the following manner

  • First, visit the official website site of Aliah university –
  • Then, the homepage will appear
  • Now, click on the “Result” tab.
  • After that, enter all the details, such as your exam roll number, Date of birth.
  • Then, click on the view result button.
  • After that, your rank card will appear.
  • Check your rank and percentile in the entrance examination
  • Finally, download and take a printout of the rank card


AUAT 2021 Counselling

Aliah University will start the counseling soon after the result declaration. It is likely to begin within two weeks of the AUAT result 2021. Aliah University has released the allotment list for Intg. MBA, B.Sc Chem & Phy, and BA Islamic Studies. However, the allotment for PG and B.Ed programs is yet to be announced. Thus, candidates for these programs need to wait.

The counseling session also consists of documents verification. Hence, candidates need to bring original documents for the verification process. Without proof of documents, seats will not be allotted to the candidates.

Candidates can book their slot in the following steps:

  • First, go to the official website of Aliah University.
  • Then, click on the Admission (AUAT 2021)’ tab in the top right corner.
  • Next, click on ‘Click here to register for e-counseling (name of course).
  • Then, enter your application ID and date of birth.
  • After that, click on the “login” button.
  • Then, click on the ‘Go for e-counseling’ tab.
  • Now, select the programs as per your preference. Candidates can choose courses depending upon the number of courses they applied for and qualified for.
  • Afterward, pay the e-counseling registration fee of INR 500, adjusted in the admission fee. Then, make a print of your final choices.


The candidate needs to carry the following original documents, with one self-attested photocopy, for verification:

  • AUAT 2021 Admit Card
  • Qualifying examination’s Mark Sheet and Certificate
  • Age Proof
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Proof for PC and OS (if applicable)

Essential instructions for AUAT 2021

Candidates appearing for AUAT must follow all the guidelines. If any candidate indulges in any malpractice, they will be disqualified from the exam. Thus, they would not be considered for the admission process. Candidates can check essential guidelines for the exam below:

  • Every candidate must reach the AUAT exam center before the reporting time. Therefore, they will be able to avoid any last-minute rush.
  • Every candidate must carry their AUAT 2021 admit card. In addition, they should have valid ID proof with them. Hence, they would not be able to enter the examination hall without these.
  • Candidates should not carry any electronic gadgets like mobile phones, tablets, digital calculators, etc., to the examination hall. Thus, if you have any such device, you must keep it outside the examination hall.
  • Candidates must have their masks and a bottle of sanitizer with them. You can have a water bottle with you and nothing else. Hence, make sure you do not carry any eatables with you.
  • Candidates must maintain silence throughout the exam. In addition, they must not indulge in any malpractice.
  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination. Thus, you must take your time and sit calmly after you finish the exam.
