AJEE is also known as AISECT Joint Entrance Exam. The exam conducting body is itself AISECT, the All Indian Society for Electronics and Computers Technology. The exam takes place once a year under the supervision of AISECT.

A candidate seeking admission in AISECT has to go through AJEE. Concerning the admission process, candidates need to fill the application form. AJEE is both an online and offline mode exam.

AJEE- Details you should know

The AISECT exam is for the students seeking admission in many UG and PG courses. For the year 2022, AISECT will release the forms in March 2022 possibly. The candidates can fill the applications for the desiring course. Candidates have to register on the AISCET website.

After that, candidates can log in and provide other details. The students have to pay the fees to complete registration. The form is online. Meanwhile, candidates can now prepare for the exam.

After the completion of the form, students will get their admit cards. AISECT releases the admit card a few days before the exam date. Once the admit card is available on the AISECT website, candidates can download it and save it for the future.

During the AISECT organized exam, the candidates are bound to show the admit card. The hall ticket will have various details about the student. It will have their identity and the details for the exam center. A candidate with no admit card will not be allowed inside the AISECT center.

After that, AISECT will release the result online on the official website. Candidates can download the result from the AJEE website. If a student has a score to get admission to the college, their name will be on the merit list. The AISCET will release the merit list. The merit list has the names of the students according to their ranks. The ranks of the students will get decided based on their scores and their category.


After result?

The students get a call up at the AISECT University, Bhopal, for the counseling rounds. The schedule is formed by the AISECT itself.
The call-up is according to the ranks of the candidates. The candidates can’t change the time for their counseling schedule. Once the candidate reaches the campus, their documents will get a check. After the document verification, students have to pay the tuition fee on the spot. For the ones who will be unable to pay the fees, might lead to their admission cancellation.

Once the admission process is complete, students can visit the campus and attend the class. But, these days due to the covid lectures are online.

Eligibility Criteria

To get admission for the AJEE 2022, candidates must fulfill the eligibility. Each course has a different requirement. The eligibility for the courses are-


  • The candidate must have cleared their class 12th exam with an average of 45%. For SC/ST/OBC, the percentage should be a minimum of 40%.
  • The mandatory subjects to pass are Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.


  • The candidates should be a pass out of class 12th from a recognized board.
  • The minimum requiring percentage in class 12th is 45% for General. But, for SC/ST/OBC, the minimum percentage is 40%.


  • The candidate must have an undergraduate-level degree from any recognized board.
  • The degree should be with some required subjects.


  • The candidate has to be a pass out from class 12th or equivalent from any recognized board.


  • The aspirant has to be a pass out from class 12th from any recognizing board.
  • The mandatory passing subject should be Maths or CS.

BSc (Computer Science, Information Technology)

  • Candidates must be a pass out of class 12th from any recognizing board.
  • Compulsory subjects are – Maths or CS.

BSc (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology)

  • Candidates must be a pass out of class 12th exam from any recognizing board or equivalent.

BSc (Agriculture)

  • Candidates must be a pass out of class 12th from any recognizing board.
  • The required mandatory subjects are – Agriculture or Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology.


  • Candidates must have an undergraduate degree from any recognizing board or university.
  • The minimum percentage is 50% for General.
  • The minimum percentage for SC/ST/OBC is 45%.


  • Candidates must be a pass out of class 12th from any recognizing board.
  • The minimum percentage for General is 50%.

  • The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream.

Registration Process

The registration for AJEE 2021 is already closed. Meanwhile, the registration process for AJEE 2022 might start from March 2022. Candidates can fill the form using online mode. The process to fill the form is –

  • Visit the official AJEE website.
  • There will be a tab or link for the UG and PG courses forms.
  • Carefully read all the AISECT instructions.
  • Enter your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address.
  • Now, your registration on the website is complete.
  • After that, log in to your account and fill in all the necessary details.
  • The details will be your personal or professional details.
  • Click on the submit button and move to the next step on the AISECT website.
  • After that, a window will appear where the candidates need to upload the documents.
  • The documents asked are your educational certificates and category certificate(if any.)
  • Candidates also have to upload a passport size photo and a sign on blank paper.
  • After submitting candidate will get a preview of the form.
  • It is the last chance to review and change anything in your form.
  • After that, the form will redirect you to the fee payment gateway.
  • Candidates have to pay a specific amount of fees depending on their category.

AJEE Syllabus

AISECT has a concise syllabus for the exam. In the year 2021, the syllabus was out before the exam. For the year 2022, the syllabus is not likely to change. If there is any possibility for change, then AISECT will notify. Until then, the syllabus will remain the same for AJEE. Shortened syllabus for few subjects are –

  • BE – Class 12th Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
  • Diploma in Engineering – Class 10th Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
  • BEd – It has numerous subjects like – aptitude, GK, General Studies, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning, Verbal skills.
  • BPEd – Its paper will have topics – GK about Sports and Games, Reasoning, and Verbal skills.
  • Management – Subjects questions asked are – Comprehension reading, Numerical Ability, Data Interpretation, and Reasoning.
  • BA LLB, LLM, LLB – The question paper for these programs will have the same subjects. The subjects are – Legal Aptitude, GK, General Studies, English, and Reasoning.

AJEE Exam Pattern

AJEE has a pattern for the entrance test. AISCET has made sure every paper is enough to qualify for admission. The exam pattern is a little similar for all the courses, except for the subjects. The common exam pattern is as follows –

For offline exams-

  • It will be a paper pen-based exam.

For online exams-

  • The exam will be a Computer-based exam.
  • The candidates will be seated on a computer at the allotted digital centers.
  • The computer will have a login screen.
  • Students have to enter the details to start the test.
  • The test will have a timer. The exam will get submitted automatically after the time completes.

Admit Card and its details

AJEE gives out the admit card for the exam. The AJEE admit card is the most crucial document to handle. The admit card releases a few days before the AJEE exam. You can download the admit card from the website with a few steps –

  • Visit the AJEE official website.
  • Click on the link – “AJEE Admit Card 2022.”
  • The website will ask to fill in the login details.
  • After that, the candidates can download their AJEE admit cards.
  • The AJEE hall ticket will be in PDF format.

There are a few important details on the AJEE admit card. Some of it is –

Soon after the exam, AISECT releases the AJEE result. The result is uploaded on the official website. Students can directly visit the website and download their AJEE results. The steps to download are –

  • Visit the official website of AJEE.
  • Click on the link- “AJEE result 2022.”
  • It will ask to fill in the roll number and password.
  • After that, the AJEE scorecard will appear.
  • You can download it and save it for further process.

After the result declaration, the counseling process starts. Counseling is the last and final step for admission.

  • Candidates will be called to the campus with their official documents.
  • All the official papers will be a checked on the spot.
  • Once the documents verification is passed, students have to pay the tuition fees.
  • Candidates failing to pay the fees will not get admission to the university.

Once after the completion, students are eligible to attend the classes.
