To clarify, BEL does conduct the entrance examination in a written format. However, the candidates are selected through strict scrutiny of their applications. They are also called for a direct interview. Most importantly, after the successful scrutiny of applications.

BEL Recruitment Exam Application Fee

The candidates applying for the recruitment exam will have to submit the following amounts as application fees.  According to their respective categories.

The application fee for the exam can be transferred through web mode or via SBI e-challan.

The application fee should be remitted through the SBI Collect link. It is provided in the portal. So, applicants are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the payment. However, candidates applying for both Project Engineer and Trainee Engineer posts are required to transfer the fees separately for each post.

The applicants however can also make the payment by approaching the SBI branch. One has to choose the SBI branch name in the payment option. Then, download the receipt generated. Then deposit the net fee and applicable bank charges in any Branch. of SBI. Therefore, the candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.

But candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS category have to enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment, in the Online Application Form. As earlier mentioned, the SC/ST/ the PwD candidates are certainly exempted from payment of the application fee.

The candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting the Application Fee and submitting the application. The fee that is once paid will not be refunded. Applications of students, who do not transfer the net application fee, will not be considered.

BEL Vacancy

According to the terms used by BEL, the net salary of Trainee Engineer – 2 (that should include the consolidated remuneration) is as given below.

  1. INR. 28,000/- per month. For the first year of the contract.
  2. INR. 31,000/- per month. For the second year of the contract.
  3. INR. 34,000/- per month. For the third year of the contract.

Allowances and Additional Benefits

  1. The candidate will get an additional amount of Rupees 10,000/- per year.
  2. But, this additional amount is for expenses like medical insurance, attire allowance, etc.
  3. The additional amount should be paid in two installments. Such as:
    • The first installment is in the first month. That is to say first month of salary.
    • The second installment is after six months. That is to say from the date of joining.

Terms of Engagement

  • The Project Engineers are termed to be engaged for an initial period of 2 years, which may be extended for another 2 years (up to a maximum of 4 years) based on project requirement and individual performance. The employees are termed to be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 35,000/- per month for the 1st year and Rs. 40,000/- for 2nd In the event of an extension of the contract, the remuneration shall be Rs. 45,000/- for 3rd year and Rs. 50,000/- for the 4th year.
  • Trainee Engineers are termed to be engaged for an initial period of a year, which is extendable for another 2 years (up to a maximum of 3 years) based on company requirements and individual performances. Candidates are termed for a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,000/- per month for the 1st year and in the event of an extension of the contract, the remuneration shall be Rs. 28,000/- for 2nd year and Rs. 31,000/- for the 3rd year.

 

BEL Recruitment Exam Syllabus

A job is better than being unemployed. So, BEL is on terms a great option to join in. After Bachelors or even Masters for that instance. Now, BEL is only conducting interviews.
