Bachelor’s Course: At present, the State University of Performing Arts and Visual Arts runs 14 Under Graduate Degree level programs across four faculties. In other words, SUPVA offers 4 UG courses in the Faculty of Fine Arts, 4 in the Faculty of Design, 5 in the Faculty of Film and Television. On the contrary, the Faculty of Urban Planning and Architecture offers a Bachelor of Architecture program.

Haryana Government laid the foundation of the State University of Performing Arts and Visual Arts on 5th August 2014. SUPVA was formed after integrating 4 technical colleges, namely State Institute of Fine Arts (SIFA), State Institute of Design (SID), State Institute of Urban Planning & Architecture (SIUPA), and State Institute of Film & Television (SIFT). The governor renamed SUPVA on 14th November 2018 after the renowned Haryanvi poet, Pandit Lakshmi Chand. To emphasize, he is popularly referred to as the ‘Kalidas of Haryana’.
