The application fees of any position are 100/- and are non- refundable.
Whereas, applicants belonging to the group SC / ST / PWD / Women / CSIR Workers / Abroad are application fee waivers.

A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years, is required in Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech). In addition, five years of expertise within the service/maintenance of scientific and analytical instruments or facilities.
A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years, is required in Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech), under the specialization in Chemical Engineering and Chemical Technology.
A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years, is required in Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech). It can be under the specialization in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or natural philosophy Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, is required in M. Sc. in Organic Chemistry from a Recognized University. In addition, 04 years of rich experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations in organic/organometallic synthesis. Aspirants with a Doctoral degree in Organic chemistry/Organometallic Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent grade are also welcomed.
A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, is required in M.Sc/B. Tech or Bachelors degree in Engineering. It should be under the specialization in any chemistry branch from Recognized Institute/University. As per DST Norms, candidates with NET/GATE will be preferred.
Desirable qualification- This is not a mandatory requirement, but candidates with additional qualifications will be preferred over others. Experience in routine molecular biology techniques (gene isolation, cloning, and expression), bioinformatics analysis, plant transformation techniques, agroinfiltration. An experiments in plants, experience/knowledge about advanced genome editing tools spring-like/Cas9 and Virus-Induced Gene-Silencing /Cas9 and Virus-Induced Gene-Silencing (VIGS) are also considered.
A minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade, is required in M.Sc/B.Tech in Biochemistry/ M.Sc in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelors degree in Engineering. They can be under Technology or Medicine Biotechnology / Microbiology or any part in Life Sciences from recognized University. As per DST Norms, candidates with NET/GATE will be preferred.

The CSIR-NCL syllabus is vast and comprehensive. It majorly includes logical and general awareness, in addition to language and science proficiency. The prescribed educational qualifications are a bare minimum . The candidates are not entitled to be called for an interview for merely possessing bare minimum.
The number of applications received in response to this notice of engagement is large. It may not be possible to interview all the candidates who applied. Based on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, the project Leader may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interviews. Furthermore, The reasonable limit will be considered according to the qualification and experience. More will be the additional qualification, more will be the preference. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field on the date of advertisement.

Selection Committee will call for the shortlisted candidates for an online interview. The link of the online interview will be provided to short-listed candidates later via email on or before 30/07/2021.
The interview will be conducted on 30/07/2021 from 09:30 AM onwards online. The interview will happen through a suitable medium. For example, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco WebEx, etc.
Neither any interview call letter will be issued separately, nor any TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
Selected candidates will be requested to join duty immediately as mentioned in the engagement letter issued by CSIR NCL.
