The National Chemical Laboratory, founded by the Council of science, is established in Pune. CSIR NCL Application Fees

CSIR-NCL recruitment application fee is simply affordable.

The application fees of any position are 100/- and are non- refundable.

Whereas, applicants belonging to the group SC / ST / PWD / Women / CSIR Workers / Abroad are application fee waivers.

The candidates need to get the hard copy of remitted application fee receipt, to have an acknowledgment against the payment. The hard copy will further be useful to fill UTR / Transaction no. and other details during the filing of the application form.

 

CSIR-NCL Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility of each vacancy differs from the required qualification and field of specialization. Here we have the required eligibility for NCL 2021 Recruitment vacancies.

CSIR NCL Qualification Criteria

Sr. Technical Officer-

A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years, is required in Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech). In addition, five years of expertise within the service/maintenance of scientific and analytical instruments or facilities.

Technical Officer –

A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years, is required in Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech), under the specialization in Chemical Engineering and Chemical Technology.

Technical Assistant-

A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, in aggregate of all semesters/years, is required in Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech). It can be under the specialization in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or natural philosophy Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.

Senior Project Associate-

A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, is required in M. Sc. in Organic Chemistry from a Recognized University. In addition, 04 years of rich experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations in organic/organometallic synthesis. Aspirants with a Doctoral degree in Organic chemistry/Organometallic Chemistry from a recognized university or equivalent grade are also welcomed.

Project Associate 1 Position I-

A minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, is required in M.Sc/B. Tech or Bachelors degree in Engineering. It should be under the specialization in any chemistry branch from Recognized Institute/University. As per DST Norms, candidates with NET/GATE will be preferred.

Desirable qualification- This is not a mandatory requirement, but candidates with additional qualifications will be preferred over others. Experience in routine molecular biology techniques (gene isolation, cloning, and expression), bioinformatics analysis, plant transformation techniques, agroinfiltration. An experiments in plants, experience/knowledge about advanced genome editing tools spring-like/Cas9 and Virus-Induced Gene-Silencing /Cas9 and Virus-Induced Gene-Silencing (VIGS) are also considered.

Project Associate:-I Position: II

A minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade, is required in M.Sc/B.Tech in Biochemistry/ M.Sc in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelors degree in Engineering. They can be under Technology or Medicine Biotechnology / Microbiology or any part in Life Sciences from recognized University. As per DST Norms, candidates with NET/GATE will be preferred.

Desirable qualification – This is not a mandatory requirement, but candidates with additional qualifications will be preferred over others. Requirements

  • Candidates must have a working email ID, soft copies of passport size photograph, and signature before applying. The application form will ask you to attach the documents of the same.
  • Scanned images in JPG/JPEG format only.
  • Aspirant’s Photograph File size must be less than 50 kb.
  • Applicant’s Signature File size must be less than 25 kb.

Registration process

  • Candidates applying for the first time need to register themselves to the NCL portal through their Email ID. They will receive their activation keys to their respective Email IDs after clicking on the activation key, you will be re-routed to the NCL portal logged-in. , your NCL portal system login ID will be the same as your user ID. However, they can use one ID to apply for more than one job position in NCL.
  • Eventually, candidates later need to pick their desired job position and press “Fill Application” written against the job position. Click on “view” to proceed with filling the application form.

Application Form Details

  • The application form asks candidates to fill in their contact information and their qualification/ educational details. It should be noted that, that these are the mandatory fields. In the absence of required information, the application form will not get submitted.
  • While filing the educational details, candidates will be requested to convert their CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades to the percentage. They can do it by the formula presented by the University.
  • If the applicant has acquired relevant experience or additional academic qualifications, he can add all of those in the “Other Qualification. ” Also, note that SSC and HSC details will be considered under the category of “Academic Details “, and not under ” Other Qualifications “.

Selection Process

The prescribed educational qualifications are a bare minimum . The candidates are not entitled to be called for an interview for merely possessing bare minimum.

The number of applications received in response to this notice of engagement is large. It may not be possible to interview all the candidates who applied. Based on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, the project Leader may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interviews. Furthermore, The reasonable limit will be considered according to the qualification and experience. More will be the additional qualification, more will be the preference. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field on the date of advertisement.

Working of Screening Committee

The possibilities of you getting selected by screening committee will increase depending on how convincing your qualification and experience looks.

The candidates recommended by the Screening Committee to be called for interview would be notified on the website. Also, in Divisional Notice Board. You can contact from 29/07/2021 during 10.00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Selection Committee will call for the shortlisted candidates for an online interview. The link of the online interview will be provided to short-listed candidates later via email on or before 30/07/2021.

Interview Details

The interview will be conducted on 30/07/2021 from 09:30 AM onwards online. The interview will happen through a suitable medium. For example, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco WebEx, etc.

Neither any interview call letter will be issued separately, nor any TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.

Selected candidates will be requested to join duty immediately as mentioned in the engagement letter issued by CSIR NCL.
