The exam pattern involves solving 150 questions in 150 minutes for 150 marks. There are no negative markings or sectional cut-off as per the KVS guidelines. The recruiting body has officially released the syllabus pdf for candidates (TGT, PRT, and PGT) based on their concerned subject. The eligibility criteria and age relaxations are as per the central government’s recruiting guidelines.

The KVS written exam date (offline MCQs) will differ for PGT, TGT, and PRT posts. Hence candidates can apply for the posts independently if they desire. The selected candidates are announced within a month and the further interview process takes place.
The preliminary examination involves 150 MCQs for 150 marks with each carrying one mark. Moreover, the exam is also conducted for a duration of 150 minutes (two-and-a-half hours). Also, the exam is conducted offline which involves the usage of OMR-sheet. Notably, there is no descriptive mains exam required to qualify. The candidates who cleared the prelims are directly called for a personal interview.
The KVS has not officially declared any exam date or interview date yet. Moreover, the interview for each posting will happen separately along with document verification.
First of all, the enrollment assessments are led according to the opening of PRT, TGT, and PG educators. Besides, in the enrollment cycle, 80% weight is of a composed test and 20% weight is of Interview. To sum up, the total enrollment measure is partitioned into 80:20. A. The recruitment is a two-stage process consisting of a written exam and a personal interview. The written exam consists of 150 questions for 150 marks and a duration of 150 minutes. The KVS exam for different postings happens on different dates.
A. Yes, there is a possibility of a job transfer, but a teacher is allowed to continue for 10 years in the same school. There is only a maximum of three transfers in their whole career.
A. The upper age limit for PGT posting is 40 years, TGT teachers are 35 and for PRT it is 30 years of age. For the postings of principal and vice-principal, it is 50 and 45 respectively.

A. Clearing Paper-1 of CTET is mandatory for PRTs and the TGTs must have cleared 2 papers. CTET eligibility is not required for PGTs.
