The Union Public Service Commission or UPSC will soon release the IPS exam Admit Card. For instance, candidates will receive admit cards for the Prelims exam.

The candidates will need to download it so that UPSC allows them to sit for the exams. The official links for the downloading of the admit cards are available at the official website of UPSC. The official authority, UPSC, will issue admit cards to students in an online format. In the absence of this e – admission certificate, the candidate’s entry will be restricted.

Above all, IPS candidates need to download this admit card at least a week before the exam. Otherwise, there may be too much traffic while trying to download the IPS admit card at the last minute. There is a risk that a candidate may run into technical difficulties.

Indian Police Service Admit Card 2022

The IPS Preliminary admit card 2022 has get released in 3rd week of May 2022. The Recruitment exam will commence from 05th June 2022 to 16th September 2022 (Onwards). The candidate will need to provide their admit card at the time of the examination.

This Admit Card holds important details such as

  • Name of the applicant.
  • Roll Number
  • The IPS examination center.
  • The date of the IPS examination (Either Prelims or Mains).
  • The time of reporting in the IPS examination venue.
  • The starting time of the IPS examination, etc.

Steps for Downloading the Indian Police Service Admit Card

Candidates may be unaware of how to download the IPS admit card before the exam. To make it easier for the students, we have provided the following steps for the students to help them download the IPS admit cards.

  1. Visit the official website of the UPSC where the Board has provided the admit card.
  2. Next, it includes clicking the link on the site for downloading the admit card.

  1. The page will display the IPS exam name. Also, it will provide a link to download the e-Admit Card. Moreover, the candidate can also check out the last date to download the Admit Card.
  2. Click on “Download”.
  3. Another page will appear. This is the Confirmation page. Thus, candidates will need to press YES to the question if they have read the instructions.
  4. Candidates will need to provide the necessary information which the page asks for. For instance, the candidate will need to enter their roll number or the registration number. The Board had provided these identifying numbers to the candidate after they had completed their application process. Also, candidates may need to enter their date of birth.
  5. The candidate will need to either download the admit card in a PDF format or directly print it.

Interview Call Letter for the IPS Exam 2022

The interview call letter is important for any and every candidate for appearing for the interview of the examinations. The call for an interview comes after the candidates have cleared the Indian Police Service main examination.

The Union Public Service Commission uploads the interview call letter to the official website of the UPSC. The candidates need to download it to qualify for the interview process. The UPSC uploads the interview call letter a few days after announcing the list of candidates passing the mains examination. The Board provides the interview call letter individually to all the candidates. Moreover, candidates need to present it at the time of the interview along with proper documentation.

FAQs

Q.1 Which identity proofs are allowed with the IPS admit card 2022?

Ans. The Pan Card, Aadhar Card, Voter ID card, Passport, Driving License, and other identity proofs are acceptable. The identity proof should include the candidate’s photo and other details and be genuine. Those with poor-quality photographs on their e-admit cards will be required to bring “a photo identity proof and two passport-sized photographs, one for each session, for appearing in the examination with an undertaking,” according to the UPSC.

Q.2 Is it mandatory to take a colour print-out of the admit card?

Ans. There is no requirement for any competitive exam admit card to be printed in colour (unless otherwise specified). Candidates may bring a black and white printout of their IPS admit card with them. All of the candidate’s information should be visible.
