The WBJEE 2022 examination will be conducted on the 30th of April, 2022. Earlier, the exam date was April 23. The revised exam date has officially been confirmed by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) on its official website. The admit card will be available tentatively from April 25, 2022, onwards. Till 16th January, the candidates could fill up their WBJEE admit Card form 2022.
Only successfully registered candidates will be able to download WBJEE Admit Card 2022 by entering their application form number and password. WBJEE 2022 will be conducted as a pen and paper-based test in two shifts. Using the roll number and password, candidates can check their seat allotment on the official website after the dates are announced.
WBJEE 2021 Counseling, as well as Seat Allotment, was open to candidates who were qualified for JEE Main. The JEE Main exam determines the allocation of 10% of engineering seats in WB JEE Colleges.

WBJEE 2022 (or West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is a state-level entrance exam for undergraduate (UG) courses in West Bengal. The courses also include Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture. The WBJEE 2022 Exam Pattern and Syllabus have not changed. The exam will be an OMR exam with two papers: mathematics (Paper-I) and physics and chemistry (Paper-II) (Paper-II). To be considered for admission, candidates must pass both papers.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is a centralized state-government exam. It is run by the WBJEE Board for admission to several private as well as public engineering institutes.

WBJEEB has set out specific eligibility requirements for the candidates. Above all, candidates must meet the WBJEE 2022 eligibility requirements to apply for the Joint Entrance Exam. Nationality – The WBJEE Aspirants must be Indian Citizens.
Applicants must be at least 17 years old before December 31, 2022, or you must have been born on or before December 31, 2005. There are no age restrictions. Candidates applying for Marine Engineering, on the other hand, must be 25 years old by December 31, 2022.
However, the minimum age requirement for admission to the Marine Engineering Course is 17 years as of December 31, 2022. And the max. age requirement is 25 years as of 31st December 2022.
Aspirants should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics with any one of the listed below subjects as compulsory subjects. Also, with individual pass marks in all the three subjects in regular class mode.
In all, aspirants must have got a minimum of 45 percent (40 percent for candidates from reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD) in the above three subjects.
Candidates must have scored at least 30% on the English section of the Class 12 exam.
Most importantly, the Qualifying Examination Board must be recognized by the Central / State Government.
Qualifying Marks – Candidates in the general category must have received a minimum of 45 percent in their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination. The minimum aggregate mark for protected categories is 40%. In addition, candidates must have received a minimum of 30% in English.

WBJEEB is supposed to create the WBJEE 2022 merit list when the online results are out. The qualifying candidates on the merit list can appear for the counseling program. It is divided into categories:
As per 2021: Candidates who took both Papers I and II received both GMR and PMR. Whereas those who took Paper 2 received PMR. SC, ST, PwD, OBC-A, OBC-B, and TFW reserved category merit places were released separately by WBJEEB. Candidates should be aware that counseling, seat allocation, and admission will be solely based on GMR and PMR, not category ranks.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will commence the WBJEE counseling after the declaration of the result.
