NPAT is National Test for Programs After Twelfth. Narsee Monjee Institute for Management Studies conducts NMIMS NPAT. It is the only official entrance test for admissions to Undergraduate Degree which grants admission to NMIMS Campuses. The exam will be administered in online mode. The candidates will give the test from their homes. The NMIMS NPAT 2021 will take place over three days, including June 27, July 2, and July 3.

Due to the COVID pandemic, NMIMS decided to organize the NPAT test as an online supervised test. The test is now administered as an Internet-based test. It is monitored remotely at the candidate’s home instead of being conducted at exam centers.

About NPAT

The NMIMS NPAT 2021 is an entrance exam for the NMIMS Programs after class 12. Moreover, the NPAT entrance exam 2021 offers the opportunity to gain admission into undergraduate programs.

This year, the NPAT exam is administered in an online, internet-based test manner. The pattern of the assessment is consistent with the previous year. The exam consists of three sections. It assesses applicants for English language proficiency, reasoning ability, general intelligence, and numerical ability. Candidates need to answer 120 questions in the exam. Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for the NPAT NMIMS 2021 include criteria such as academic qualification, age restriction, and nationality. NMIMS NPAT eligibility requires applicants to meet the NMIMS NPAT eligibility criteria to take the exam. The NMIMS NPAT offers admission to many courses and therefore the eligibility criteria are different for each course. Basic Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria for applying to NMIMS NPAT requires applicants to have cleared Class XII with a minimum of 50% marks. Those who are still in 10+2 can also register for the NMIMS NPAT exam. It is necessary to complete the NMIMS NPAT 2021 eligibility criteria set forth by NMIMS University.   • Applicants applying to NPAT must have passed their class 12 exam or equivalent.
  • Candidates who pass the 10 + 2 exam from the Open or Distance learning (ODL) equivalent are also eligible to apply for the exam. In this case, the school must be accredited by the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS).
  • Applicants must have a total score of 60% in their 10 + 2 or similar examinations
  • IB diploma holders will only be eligible but only if they have math/statistics at the standard level.
  • Applicants who have passed the CBSE / ICSE exam must have a score aggregate of all subjects of class 10 or an equal level of examination.


Also note:

  • The scores of the best four or five subjects will not be taken into account.
  • Candidates over 25 are not allowed to register for the exam
  • Applicants who are not able to achieve a 10 + 2 CBSE or ICSE Board or IB Diploma on the first attempt will not be eligible for the NPAT Exam

  • Register by filling in all of the needed information.  
  • Enter the required text in the verification box and then click on ‘submit’. 
  • Check your mailbox for the verification mail. 
  • Click on the link sent in your mailbox to validate your account. 
  • Return to the official website of NPAT and log in with the created ‘username’ and ‘password’.

Basic Guidelines for Completing the NMIMS NPAT Application Form

The following should be kept in mind while filling the application form: 

  • Applicants only need to register once for NMIMS NPAT. Multiple submissions of the application by the same applicant may result in cancellation.
  • Applicants who have chosen multiple colleges and courses have the choice of giving the test on both dates. However, the applicants will be needed to pay the application fee for both days separately. 
  • Applicants who have selected both Engineering and Non-Engineering courses or colleges in the application form will be needed to appear for the Engineering institution Exam on the first day and the non-Engineering institution Exam on the next day and vice versa. 
  • The highest score of a candidate who has given the exam on both days will be considered in the merit list.

 The basic application fee for submission of the NMIMS NPAT 2021 Application form is Rs.1800 for one institution. However, the application fee will change for candidates applying for more than one institution. Below is the application fee structure for one or multiple institutions.

NPAT Admit Card

Candidates are advised to keep a photo identification. It will be to verify identity on the test day. NMIMS did not release the NPAT call letter after the authorities changed the NPAT examination mode from an offline exam to a remotely supervised test. Login to the internet-based test will take place using the login credentials. It will be provided to the candidates through e-mail.  Candidates without a photo identification card will not be allowed to take the NPAT exam.

NPAT Result

The NMIMS NPAT 2021 Result will be available online at the university website. Students can view their results by entering their login information. NMIMS will announce the result on the internet in the form of a merit list.
