Across India, the IIT Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (IIT JAM 2022) is scheduled to be conducted by IIT Roorkee on February 13. The release date for the application form of IIT JAM has been set for August 25, 2021. You can register for the online exam before October 11, 2021.

The Application Process for the IIT JAM 2022 was supposed to be on August 30, 2021. Later, the date, August 25, 2021, was decided to make it earlier than before. You must submit the application form before October 11, 2021, as it is the last date of submission. You can visit the IIT JAM official website or click the given link https://jam.iitr.ac.in/
IIT JAM is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology for admission into Master of Science (M.Sc.) as well as other science post-graduate programs also offered by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs).
The IITs are situated all over India under the authority of the Government of India, Ministry of Education. The Institutes of Technology Act, 1961 governs the twenty-three institutes all across the country. The IIT JAM was started in the year 2004 to provide admissions to the students in IITs, the Indian Institute of Science (IIFSc), and other Technical Institutes.
The admit card for the IIT JAM 2022 exam will possibly be released by January 4, 2022. The application fee for a single exam is Rs 1500 and Rs 2100 if you are opting for two subjects.

You can check the status of your application by visiting the IIT JAM official website https://joaps.iitr.ac.in/ After you have completed and submitted your application form. The application form status will let you know whether your application is received, accepted, rejected, or under review. After the verification of your application is completed by the exam conducting authorities the status will be updated and you will receive a notification on your email for the same.

The Eligibility Criteria for the IIT JAM exam 2022 has been announced. You can go through the points below to know more about the IIT JAM eligibility:
You can only apply through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) portal. The link for the portal is available at the JAM 2022 https://jam.iitr.ac.in/ website. The Registration process will be made available from August 25, 2021, on the website. You will have to first register on the JOAPS website with the following details:
You must enter your active email as all the details will be sent to you on your email. You should not use someone else’s email ID and make sure only you are registered from that email. Make sure the mobile number you provided is active. After the successful registration on the portal. The Enrolment ID will be sent to you on your email as well as your mobile number. You should keep your Enrolment ID as well as your password confidential.
DATA REQUIREMENTS FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM: Your following details will be required to fill in your application form on the JOAPS portal:
You will need to fill in your complete details by logging in on the portal. Educational qualification, CGPA, gender, ID proof, etc.
IIT JAM APPLICATION FORM PHOTOGRAPH SPECIFICATIONS:
You can go through the given photograph specifications to avoid getting it rejected due to any reason. Your photograph must have a 3.5 cm Width and 4.5 cm Height. You can take a look at the table below for more details:

Your photograph must be of good quality and in JPEG format and must be clicked in a professional studio. Any other medium used for taking your picture such as a mobile phone will be rejected.
The Photograph provided by you should be colored and must have a white or any light-colored background. Only clear glasses are permitted, if you wear spectacles with dark or tinted glasses your photograph will not get accepted. Poor quality images will lead to rejection with no application fee refund.
The file size of your image must be within 5KB to 200 KB.

Your signature must be done on white paper with a blue or black ink pen and it must be in a JPEG format and signature must be done horizontally so it should fit in the box.
If your signature includes any capital letters, initials, or any other ink pen it will be rejected. The file size of your image must be 5KB to 100.

You will get three hours to complete the examination. There is a total of 60 questions with a 100 marks weightage. The Question paper has three sections:

There will be no negative marking for IIT JAM Exam 2022. But you will get a deduction for wrong answers.
