NTA has released the schedule for the DUET examination 2021. The exams will start from September 26, 2021, to October 1, 2021. DUET admit card 2021 will release soon before the start of the exam. Tentatively it will be out three-four days before the DUET exam. The date for the release of admit card will be announced soon.

Candidates can download the admit card once uploaded on the website. While downloading it, candidates might face some issues. But worry not, we have covered such queries in this article.

NTA issues the DUET admit card. Admit card is the most crucial document for the exam. If the candidate fails to provide admit card, they are not allowed to appear for the exam. A candidate needs to take the admit card with other required documents to the exam hall.

Documents to carry for the exam

The mode of the DUET 2021 exam is online. But the exams will be at a given center. The exam will be Computer Based. For the candidates to appear in the exam, they have to provide admit card and some additional documents.

While at the exam hall, the candidate’s admit card will be checked and verified. It will be stamped and signed by the invigilator over there only. In addition to proving their identity, candidates have to show supporting documents.

You can carry any document along with the hall ticket. The candidate who fails to show DUET 2021 admit card will not be allowed in the exam hall.

Few instructions for the appearing candidates –

  • Candidates have to reach the exam centre one hour before the scheduled time.
  • Electronic devices or calculators are not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Bag, books, or any stationary will be left outside the centre.
  • Violation of any rule will lead to the cancellation of the exam.


How to download DUET 2021 admit card

The admit card will be downloadable from the NTA DU official website. The step by step process to download the DUET 2021 admit card is –

Step 1

  • Firstly, go to Delhi University’s official website.


Step 2

  • Find a link probably named as – “DUET 2021 admit card.”


Step 3

  • Log into your account using your details like – form number and date of birth.


Step 4

  • Click on the button – “Submit.”


Step 5

  • The DUET 2021 admit card will appear on the screen.


Step 6

  • Look for the download button and click on it.


Step 7

  • Take at least two copies of the official admit card.


Possible issues in downloading the exam admit card.

Nothing is perfect in terms of technology yet. There might come a few problems while downloading the DUET admit card. Few troubles you will face are mentioned below –

  • The website to download the admit cards might crash due to some server error. Pause for a short period, and download it once the issue is resolved.
  • If the candidate has updated a credential incorrectly, it might get difficult to download or even retrieve the admit card.
  • Incorrect application and fee payment lead to the cancellation of the application form. This way candidate’s registration becomes null and void.
  • If a candidate has registered without lying into the eligibility criteria, the form gets cancelled.

Because of these reasons downloading the admit card may become hard. But wait for a while and try again for a few issues.

What to do if details are incorrect?

Sometimes, candidates try to access the admit card but fail. The error message says invalid credentials. In such a case, try again with the correct credentials sent to you. It is sent to you at your email address and phone number. If somehow you are still not able to access it, then contact NTA as soon as possible.

The admit card is the prime document to appear for DUET 2021 entrance exam. The details on the hall ticket are as beneficial too. The details on the official admit card –

  • Name of the appearing candidate
  • Passport size photograph of the candidate
  • Signature of the candidate
  • Gender
  • Allotted roll number
  • Exam centre name
  • Exam centre address
  • Date of the DUET exam
  • Reporting time at the DUET exam centre

Schedule of the exam as per the admit card

The admit card will have many details. To find your schedule for the exam, you have to look carefully.

Exams will start from September 26, 2021, to October 1, 2021. For the six days of examination, every course is scheduled on a different date and time. To know more about your date of exam and schedule of time, go through your admit card. There will be a section with “Date and Time” of your examination.

The test will be in three slots –

  • 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
  • 12:30 PM to 02:30 PM
  • 05:00 PM to 07:00 PM


Important instructions for Computer Based Exam

While appearing for a Computer Based Exam, you should know –

  • Each candidate will get one computer(node) allotted.
  • The computer will show the Welcome screen before the start of the exam.
  • After logging in, the candidate will see every detailed instruction.
  • A timer will start as soon as a candidate logs in.
  • The palette at the side of the screen will display the question with their number and colour codes based on their status.
  • Candidates can navigate between questions by clicking on the “Next” or “Previous” button.
  • For doing rough work, a blank sheet will be provided at your desk.
  • If any of your input devices like – Mouse, Keyboard, stop working the time lost for malfunction will be automatically adjusted in the server timer.



Q1. Will we get the admit card immediately after filling the DUET 2021 registration form?

A. No, the admit card was released a few days before the actual exam date. DUET 2021 release date is not yet declared.


Q2. Should I sign on the candidate signature box when I print the admit card?

A. No, candidates are asked to sign on the admit card in front of the invigilator.


Q3. Can I show you a soft copy of the admit card at the exam hall?

A. No, the admit card should be printed and even laminated to be on a safer side.


Q4. How will I know my location for the DUET 2021 exam?

A. The information regarding the DUET exam is on the respective admit card.


Q5. Can I appear for the exam if I forgot my admit card?

A. No, admit card is mandatory to give the exam.


Q6. Do I have to submit my original admit card to the exam hall?

A. No, you have to show it to the invigilator for verification. Later you can carry it with you.


Q7. The details of the exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card?

A. Yes. The address of the DUET exam centre will be mentioned on your respective admit card.


Q8. Can I carry my other documents inside the exam hall?

A. No, you will be allowed to carry your admit card only.
