Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Commission Preliminary Entrance Test (UPSSSC – PET) is organized to shortlist candidates for the UPSSSC Mains exams. Qualified candidates are recruited for Group “B” and Group “C” jobs in Uttar Pradesh, including Lekhpal, Jr Clerk, TGT/PGT/PRT Teachers, Assistants, etc.
UPSSSC PET Syllabus 2024
The UPSSSC PET syllabus 2022 is no longer in use since there have been some additions and deletions. The UPSSSC PET 2024 will be based on a new and updated syllabus.
The revised syllabus for UPSSSC PET 2024 includes 10 main subjects. The subjects include general knowledge, current affairs, India’s history, etc. The candidates are requested to evaluate the new and updated syllabus completely before preparing their study schedule.
It is important to know about the revised syllabus of UPSSSC PET syllabus for 2024 since there are some new revisions. Apart from new sub-topics and subject-name changes, there is an addition of a new subject, known as the Indian National Movement. This new subject will carry 5 marks.

The expected good score or the cut-off depends upon the past trends and the cut-off for UPSSSC PET 2022. Hence, the good score for UPSSSC PET 2024 are:
General: 82 – 88
EWS: 76-80
Backward Classes: 73-78
Scheduled Caste: 70-75
Scheduled Tribe: 64-69
The passing marks for UPSSSC 2024 are 45%. This has been revised from UPSSSC PET passing marks, which were 40%.
Currently, there are no restrictions on the number of attempts in the UPSSSC PET exam. Candidates can give any number of attempts until they turn 40.
The UPSSSC PET exam score is valid for up to 1 year from its date of issue. The issue date is the same as the date of the result.
