Candidates applying for the ASRB NET exam must meet the age criteria per the official notice. The Candidates applying for NET must be 21 years old, and there is no upper age limit.
Candidates must have a master’s degree certificate or equivalent on or before September 30, 2023, from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or another educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/she must qualify for a foreign University recognized as equivalent eligibility qualification by the Government of India (GoI).
Interested candidates must apply for the ASRB NET exam through online mode. There is no offline mode for the application process. The candidates must complete the application form provided on the official website.

The ASRB NET exam is done online mode. Candidates must answer one paper worth 150 marks with 150 objective multiple-choice questions that must be answered in 2 (Two) hours. One mark is assigned to each question. These 150 questions must be drawn from the area of study the individual has chosen to apply for.
They have to cover all the questions in 120 minutes. Each question will be of a 1-mark score. The exam also contains a negative scoring system, where 1/3 of the marks will be cut for each wrong answer.
