ASRB NET 2024 is a national-level exam, and the exam mode will be online. The duration of the examination is 2 hours, and the exam will be conducted in two languages, ie. English and Hindi. The ASRB NET exam is conducted once a year only.

Nationality
To apply for the ASRB National Eligibility Test, candidates must be either:
- Citizens of India.
- Citizens of Nepal
- Citizens of Bhutan.
- Tibetan refugees who arrived before January 1, 1962.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
ASRB NET Age Limit
Candidates applying for the ASRB NET exam must meet the age criteria per the official notice. The Candidates applying for NET must be 21 years old, and there is no upper age limit.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have a master’s degree certificate or equivalent on or before September 30, 2023, from any Indian University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or another educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or he/she must qualify for a foreign University recognized as equivalent eligibility qualification by the Government of India (GoI).

Interested candidates must apply for the ASRB NET exam through online mode. There is no offline mode for the application process. The candidates must complete the application form provided on the official website.

- Step 7: Upload all the required good-quality documents and submit them.
- Step 8:Continue with the application fee payment process. Pay your application fee online through any of the options provided.

ASRB NET Exam Pattern
The ASRB NET exam is done online mode. Candidates must answer one paper worth 150 marks with 150 objective multiple-choice questions that must be answered in 2 (Two) hours. One mark is assigned to each question. These 150 questions must be drawn from the area of study the individual has chosen to apply for.
They have to cover all the questions in 120 minutes. Each question will be of a 1-mark score. The exam also contains a negative scoring system, where 1/3 of the marks will be cut for each wrong answer.
