RPF SI Admit Card

The RPF SI exams are declared by the Ministry of Railways. They announce the exam dates on their official website. The exam for the latest year is not yet declared. The announcement is expected in August or September. Admit cards for the RPF SI exams are released 10-15 days before the exams. Candidates are intimated about the upload of the e-admit card through an email or SMS.

At the time of registration, candidates fill in their contact details. They give their phone numbers and email ids. After this candidates receive a provisional registration number and a password. Candidates will receive these registration numbers and passwords on their phones and on email ids.

Central recruitment commissions send messages on these same email id and phone numbers to inform about the release of admit cards. Candidates should keep the registration number and password safe too. They would require those to log in to download the admit card.

The admit card has all the details of the venue, exam timings, and other requirements for the candidates.

How to download RPF SI admit card?

Ministry of railways and CRC upload the admit cards for the eligible candidates on their official website. After that candidates are can download them from the website. All applicants can follow these steps to download the cards-

  • Candidates must first verify their eligibility.
  • Ministry will upload the admit cards of candidates who are eligible for the exam.
  • The exam body sends emails and SMS only to the candidates who are eligible.
  • Candidates can download the e-admit card from the website of the ministry of railways.
  • First, open the website.
  • Click on the link for the admit card for RPF & RPSF.
  • Applicants then should enter their registration number and password.
  • Download and print the admit card.

Documents to carry with Admit card

Once applicants have downloaded their admit cards, they must keep them safe and secure. All the applicants should carry few documents with them to the exam center. Following is the list-

  • Candidates must carry a printed-out copy of their admit card. Carry a softcopy of admit card on your phone is not applicable.
  • All the candidates must carry a photo-id proof with them. It could be a voter ID card, Adhaar card, and driving license, ID card issued by an employer in case of govt. servant or a photo collage id card (original).
  • Applicant must also carry a passport size photo similar to the one used in filling the application form.
  • Candidates who are traveling from other places to the exam location and are availing of the SC/ST benefits for traveling must carry their original SC/ST certificate with them.

Things to remember about admit cards

  • Candidates must carry a hard copy of the admit card.
  • Everyone must make sure that the card is clean. There should not be any stains or marks on it.
  • In the e-admit card, there is a space provided for a self-declaration form, signature, and a left thumbprint. Applicants must leave that space blank. They will fill this space in front of the invigilators in the exam hall.
  • Candidates must not make the mistake of filling up the details before reaching the exam hall. In case of such a situation, candidates may not be able to sit for exams.
  • Candidates must make sure to get a clear printout of the admit card so that there is no confusion regarding any details.
  • Make sure to get the printout as soon as possible to avoid the last-minute rush.
  • All the candidates must make sure that the information given on the admit card is correct. In case there is any misprint or wrong information, applicants should get in touch with the authorities.
  • These are professional exams. Applicants should avoid making any unwarranted mistakes.
  • The CRC issues admit cards. Candidates should not believe that this is proof of verification of all the information filled in the application form. Authorities will do document verifications.
  • The CRC has full discretion in rejecting any application on grounds of wrong information or ineligibility.
